I personally haven't installed tempered glass on the iQOO 13. It comes with a pre-applied screen protector and I am just using that itself.

I would love to but because of lack of budget,it may be difficult for me. I have more interest in Mi 15 or OnePlus 13 Mini. Regarding camera comparison, I can already gurantee you that OP13 has significantly better camera performance than iQOO 13 especially with zoom.

iQOO 12 has a better camera setup. Primarily the telephoto is far superior.

Different price ranges. If you don't need performance and can digest the cost of 23U, then go for 23U. Personally I would get a OnePlus 13 or a Mi 15 or a Vivo X200 Pro over a 23U anyday.

I mean the only thing that I would like it to change is the level of sharpening in post-processing. I am not sure if iQOO/Vivo would do that. Otherwise it's fine. The details captured and dynamic range is as good as it gets. And the 2x zoom is something that can't be helped, it's significantly smaller sensor than the one in iQOO 12. Fine in day light, poor at night(mostly).

It really depends what you want from a phone. Personally for me, I can't deal with the limitations and restrictions of iOS.

Firstly do you need Snapdragon 8 Elite or not? If not then OnePlus 12 is currently 54k on Flipkart and if you want a compact phone with even better camera (but lesser performance due to compact size) then Xiaomi 14 is clear choice at 50k on Amazon (stocks are scarce).

OP12 is 53k on Amazon with credit card discounts.

I am trying to 😂 But disclaimer I don't think Gcam will be better 100% of the time. It'll be situational. Today I spent whole day on Gcam, need better noise models for these sensors.

How about gcam front video? Does it support stability?

If you are only looking at the camera then NO. Xiaomi 14 has a significantly better camera than iQOO 13. So if you are ignoring the other features and only focussing on camera then yes there are better devices than iQOO 13.

IMX 921 is fine. The issue is the processing can go overboard in terms of sharpening. Can look ugly at times. I'm not sure if X200 uses same processing as iQOO 13 or not.. Sensor isn't the issue, the processing feels overcooked.

That's a valid dilemma if you have the budget to afford the more expensive phones. Personally for me Snapdragon is mandatory - so Find X8 is gone. Then OP13 is going to be way too expensive for me(70k or more), as I cannot justify spending over 50k on a phone for personal use.

Doesn't go beyond 60. Some kind of unremovable cap. Regardless hypothetically if the 60 fps cap would be removed, I don't think the phone will be able to maintain temps.

You can buy 1 S23 Ultra and 1 iQOO 13 for the price of 1 S25 Ultra. Software experience - One UI is a 9.5/10 while FunTouch OS is a 7/10 in terms of features. In terms of smoothness both are on par. I can't justify spending that much on a Samsung just because of better software. iQOO promises 4 OS updates with the iQOO 13, so things can significantly improve in the future. You have a lot of time available, I'll have a review of the software experience in a couple of weeks.

Regional pricing saved us in India. It cost me 5 usd on Android and iOS version costs 12 usd.
