This movie does look a bit low budget but this shit really does happen, 14 years ago my sister (age 17 at the time) started talking to some guy she thought was hot on the net and she decided to go and meet him. She lied to my mom and I and said she was going to hang out with her girl friends. The guy showed up with “friends” then conveniently left her with those “friends”. The friends beat her among other things, put a horrible weave on her and skimpy stripper like clothing and had her out on broadway in LA within 2 days. She managed to get away to call us a week later (my mom and I were sick and worried, police couldn’t help b/c she was basically an adult) we took off immediately and picked her up on the corner with other working girls. I didn’t even recognize my sister, she looked like another person. We stopped at a red light and she looks over at the car next to us and starts shaking , crying, and stuffs herself into The foot area in the car loud whispering “those are the guys!!! GOGOGOGOGOOOO!!!” It was a horrible time. She never got it back together and now struggles with a lot of issues still to this day.
It is low budget but most of the actors were pretty good. Lena, the mom, the daughter and the other girls were pretty good. I've seen some really bad low budget movies with horrible actors but this was good. It definitely got the message across. Lena was out there doing this herself, putting the police to shame! She accomplished more in a few day's than they have in years. It's a disgrace. Lena was the Boss in this one, I love her character.
