- Time to ride in on steel horse with the reveal trailer for Transformers: Reactivate’s latest trailer shown off at the Game Awards. The trailer showed off the striking dystopian world of the Splash Damage’s upcoming online action game alongside a haunting cover of Bon Jovi’s Wanted Dead of Alive.

At least the Bay films were recognizable as transformers. This just looks like Hasbro saw a destiny clone and slapped a trademark on it
Its an announcement trailer for starters, second i don't know what you were expecting but not every continuity has the same designs, 3rd it was from a first person perspective so quit complaining

Maybe this sound harsh, but I am sick of transformers vibes and I want to see a new vibe for change
I believe the two vehicles driving side by side are both Ratchet and Ironhide. If you look on the right you can see that the vehicle is a paramedic as it also has white and red colour schemes just like Ratchet in G1. However, if you look at the vehicle on the left and pause the video at 0:39 you can see that the blue explosion is reflecting off the vehicle and it appears to be red just like Ironhide's colour scheme from G1. Also the two vehicles also look similar to each other just like Ironhide and Ratchet's did in the G1 cartoons. Your welcome.👍👍👍👍👍

Oh I hope; this has been a dream of mine for a long time, a Transformers game where you can choose your own alt mode.
@Philip Inman I mean in the ds versions of the 07 and Revenge of the Fallen games you could kinda do that. But a modern game not following any pre established media allowing you to be an original character with a unique vehicle mode or even multiple would be pretty dope
you get to play as famous characters who you can customize, not make your own character. thats from what I've heard anyway
This is fresh! I thought about a story where the whole Transformers thing had a very subtle introduction. The part where the camera rises and you realise you're not watching some standard human robot or a robocop like cyborg but a Transformer is very cool, I love it. Hopefully the game will get released, and released on consoles. I'm not really worried about the gameplay or story, the vibe in this trailer is amazing. We already have peek Transformers gameplay with War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron.
I'm not a Transformers fan, but the PS3/360 era games were so good, I can't help but be excited about this, just hope it's not an fps

The idea within the story in this game that this "legion" threat is so vast, that it will take both autobots and decepticons to take it down.
As nearly every game in recent years has taught me, I'm skeptical of this game until I see actual gameplay. I'm gonna be honest though, I didn't really get a "Transformers" vibe from this trailer much and I'm not sure how I feel about it being a 1-4 multiplayer co-op game as opposed to the 6v6 multiplayer matches of FoC. All I can say is that thank God we're at least finally getting another online multiplayer Transformers game! Personally, what will seal the deal for me is if you get to customize your character, seeing as you're not playing as any one specific character (as far as we know) because that's one aspect of Transformers games I deeply miss since the days of FoC. I just hope this is a proper return to online multiplayer Transformers games and it doesn't have a disastrous launch...
If this is Bumblebee's we are seeing the POV of, I'm slightly disappointed because how overused he is in media nowadays but I hope there'll be more optional characters because if so, it would be cool for maybe Tailgate to make a game appearance or even have a autobot-decepticon truce thing to take down these threats attacking the world (if it isn't the decepticons that is)

To those who are saying it’s bumblebee, it’s not. This is a completely different transformer. It has two different arms, likely salvaged from another downed transformer.
I’m hoping our character is customizable. Even if it’s not likely.
But what about the schematics on the blue computer screen behind the humans at the end of the trailer? Bc that robot portfolios definitely looked like a G1 bumblebee to me. Also the yellow paint job along side black masking tape (similar color scheme to a bumblebee). Either it's bumblebee or they are head faking us like hell
@@blutuber9151 I’m pretty sure we would know if it was bee. I don’t think it would a good marketing decision for them to leave him out of the trailers, then, on release, turn around and say “oh yeah by the way, Bumblebee is the main character”. Plus, this autobot only has the one yellow and black arm, from what I could see. 🤷🏻♂️

What I think they might do is have you start off with bumblebee (mainly because a lot of transformer games have ya start off as him) and as the game progresses you will be able to unlock more and more transformers (as the story intends you to do) and by the end of the game you can choose whoever you want to play as, either as autobot or deception

This better top Transformers ROTF. Many will disagree but that’s the 2nd best TF game we’ve gotten next to FOC. No one wants to talk about how good the combat and shooting in that game was. The mechanics overall were BETTER than FOC. The only thing FOC had over ROTF was the overall narrative and spectacle of the game. But action wise, goes to ROFT. That game made you feel like a transformer.
This does not look like a transformers game🤔 also can't wait to see the dead corps of Optimus and I'm guessing were gonna revive Optimus in the game 🤔

Ngl, I'm not huge on this. If the trailer didn't say Transformers, I would have had no clue that's what this is. Outside of maybe Bumblebee, there wasn't a single recognizable character and everything's so dark and desaturated. I'm not saying every Transformers thing needs to look like G1, but this feels like it's embarrassed to be a Transformers game. Idk, I hope there are unlockable G1/CHUG (basically modernized G1) skins. I also hope the enemies aren't just generic Insecticons and we get some named characters or at the very least a proper rainbow of Seekers
The whole POINT of this teaser was to raise questions and end with the big reveal that it's Transformers, you whiny weirdo.

Looks like a War of the Worlds knockoff meets Transformers, weird mix but I'm here for it. The flying bug/bird type enemies that were swarming around give me Transformers Energon Terrorcon vibes; not sure if that's a good thing lol
Idk, I kinda liked the fact that I didn't even know it was a trandformers game until the end, although I woulda preferred if I knew it was one through like a mirror scene or the POV bot transforming, that would've been better. But this was [retty good too.

Maybe Megatron & the Decepticons has overtaken Earth to enslave all of humanity after they've won against the Autobot before they laid waste on this once peaceful planet into a desolated wasteland.

I love the desperation and despair this trailer gives for instance one of the humans think that the bot we play as is a lost cause but there are still people who don't think that and if anything it's amazing and a part of me wants to believe that this is a sequel to fall of cybertron, the Cybertron games need a sequel to continue its story
Prime is the official sequel to the Cybertron games. They’re all part of the Aligned Continuity. The problem is that the actual continuity is terrible, like nothing matches up between the games and the show because High Moon Studios was only informed that their games would be part of this continuity late into their development.

I think the main plot of this game is that is the quintesson Empire attacked Earth and destroy the human population and killed many of the Autobots and Decepticons I think Bumblebee and probably a few of the Autobots to survive the invasion and the Decepticons are going to team up and put it into this Invasion and protect Earth
So this is is going to be a fresh new story within the transformers universe with it being quoted allowing players to "fully immerse themselves in the universe like never before".
It's going to be a 1-4 player online action game, which pits the Autobots against the new enemy in the universe "the Legion" which has already invaded earth and won.
It's going to be available for PC and consoles, with a closed beta planed some time in 2023

I don’t really get Transformers vibes from this trailer but I’m interested. I’m a HUGE fan of War and Fall of Cybertron. The graphics look stunning. I just hope we don’t play as humans in this game. And I hope Peter Cullen voices Prime.
