What I love about this scene is how Mio talks about her fallen friend in a very realistic way a real person would talk about someone important to them who passed away. She hesitates but also tries to rip the bandaid off at the same time. It's how anyone talks about their trauma that they still experience.
A bit of symbolism worth mentioning. Noah comes from the black wearing Keves and plays a black flute, Mio comes from the white wearing Agnus and plays a white flute. When they swap you end up with a little white in black and vice versa. Or in other words Ying and Yang, which symbolises balance.
I couldn't agree more with choosing this cutscene as a showcase of how incredible this game is. Simply the fact that Mio became so much more talkative immediately after letting herself open up and cry. They immediately sound like lifetime friends, finishing eachother's sentences in the most natural way. I love this cutscene with all my heart.
I like the realism in how Noah not only accepts what Sena said but also acts on it, at first he tries to deny Mio's request in trading out of habit but very quickly realizes that this is what Mio truly wants and goes along with it instead which is great

The music is also a highlight with the french horns and violins creating the feeling of warm due to their bond. This scene is a top 10 Xeno scene to me man its so good.
