I didn’t know what to think about WJC’s art when I purchased the first hardcover, but as I read it, the art just came to life for me. I absolutely love these stories and this edition is beautiful!
@@robertdouble559 Yeah after getting the first two in my hands and both seeing and feeling the luxurious quality I immediately ordered the rest of the volumes. Can't wait for them to get here!
I'm honestly thinking of selling mine, they're so large, and I'm not a fan of how they're collected, I hated that volume 2&4 are nothing but short stories.
@@brandon17760 That's fair. I didn't notice they were only short stories. But seeing as I haven't read any of the Hellboy universe as long as the stories are connected universe wise I'm sure I'll get some enjoyment out of them. But I can completely understand your being disappointed by that.
Thanks for the great video Omar mate 👍🔥👍 Haven't seen these stories before so this is a nice heads up for my future purchases wish list 🤘🔥🤘 Cheers mate ❤
Yes you can! But it’s not like his other work. If you want to see his art. Try the amazing screw on head. It’s quirky and not too serious. If you want to say goodbye to your wallet. Go for the Hellboy library editions.
These stories are a wonderful treat

Hei, Omar, great review!
Library edition looks fire 🔥!!
Just picked up vol 1 and 2 of the Hellboy library editions. They are so freaking nice! Super high quality.
Definitely! Will never sell these 😊
I eventually bought all six and I'm very glad I did.

I dig the art, definite Edward Gorey vibes from those old PBS Mystery! intros.
The only time i think the art didn't really need to be in bigger size for anything from the mind of Mignola
@Omat: Now we need BPRD Library editions.
You just convinced me to purchase this. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I’ve always loved Warwick’s work. It’s pronounced ‘Warrick’ by the way.
Size wise this seems closer to Dark Horse’s hardcovers of Black Hammer, Kali, Lady Killer. Great pricepoint and print quality. Thanks Omar!

Thank you so much for your awesome work 🙏
I have a question I'm new to Mike Mignola works, can I start with this book?
Thanks in advance 😊

@@NearMintCondition Huge thanks for your Reply ♥️♥️♥️
Quirky art style but it fits the stories perfectly
Having all of the Mignolaverse, I could see myself getting this just to be a completionist.
Does anyone know if there will be a soft cover edition of this one? Those big library editions kind of dont fit my book shelves :/
Love Mignola but this looks awful.
Terrible art throughout.
Easy pass. The artwork is terrible. Yikes.
