@@JeMiyah_was_here. They're like mechanical pencils but the lead is the same size as a regular pencil, lets you get a lot more variation in line thickness!
Nah,you'd be better of with a Pentel Graphgear 500! WAY better pencil, than any OHTO. Gimmicks, make the pencil, less precise (tip wobbles), grip is uncomfortable, balance is off and it will never last as long, as a Pentel Graphgear 500 either! That's for line work, for shading, you need a Faber Castell TK9400 or TK4600 (remove the clip and it becomes a better TK 9400) loaded with TK 9071 graphite leads. I use a set of 5 TK's and a Pentel Graphgear 500 0.5mm loaded with Ain Stein leads. No other system, comes close, to the performance, and ralability, of those pencils. For sketching, the best is Kohinoor 5340 (most versatile pencil out there and the best for sketching, period!)
I suspect this mechanical pencil was actually inspired by the staedtler 925 85 (regulator) which was an insanely high tech mechanical pencil made for drafting, released over two decades ago,but discontinued about a decade ago and it is worth a LOT of money now. You can learn more about this mechanical pencil online
A thin sticker in the body on the end of the button mechanism to make it not rattle and a 1.5x larger and slightly stiffer spring for the conical front/lead sheath cover to make it stiffer when not fully opened for adjustable sheath length makes this thing perfect
@@notsaiventhere is a little indicator on the pencil that you select the proper led so you know which one you are using. Hence the "H, B," and so on. Everything on these pencils is useful and has a function all it's own.
You can buy them on many shops, the brand of your pencil usually offers spare ones or you can get generic ones, they are just long and you can cut to size
Looks like nothing more than a re-release of the Super ProMecha. I prefer the old discontinued Conception: much better looking, and far less awkward in the hand.
Both overrated. Pentel Graphgear 500, is far better than both a(Fopr drawing) for writing, Graphgear 500 is better, but still none of them was designed for writing. Uni Alpha, Pentel Twist erase II, Pilot dr Grip and the best for edc Pentel Kerry, are all WAY better pencils for writing, because they were designed just for that! and indeed, outperform any other.
Even though many if not all mechanical pencils r refillable , I know from my own experience , as well as observing others’, that ppl don’t refill I feel like it’s NET waste of materials we [mankind] probably should have stuck to wood pencils
Zebra M301 0.5mm. I’ve had mine for over 20years. Bought a new one for backup. Best pencil I’ve ever used and it’s very affordable
Same I love that one I couldn’t find .5 so I bought .7 for backup!! Can’t go wrong with it!!
Zebra makes really nice inexpensive pencils, i have delguard and i love it
Try Pentel Graphgear 500 (0.5mm). That's a better pencil, that will also last you for decades!
@@greekveteran2715I’ll check em out, I always appreciate quality recommendations 😊 Thank you
Zebras are unmatched
As an artist who only uses mechanical pencils, GIVE IT TO ME NEOW
YES NOW!!!!!!!!
Have you ever looked into lead holders?
@@puppable Never heard of that

I wish it also had kurotoga mechanisms too, for the perfect pencil!
Don't think that would work on this pencil.
That advance adjuster is amazing
Man seeing all these pencils i missed out on in highschool
This is a vernier calliper😂😂😂
😂
I picked one of these up in a recent trip to Japan and had no idea how to use it. Thank you for this video lol.

Its like graphgear500 but better
I want this pencil ✏️
Combine this with the kuru toga engine 👀
It’s a shame it doesn’t because it would be perfect.
I think they already think of that before but someone might go missing if it come true because it’s too perfect!!
@@tdolan500 Uni once made it in the form of an Limited edition Kuru Toga
Nice, thanks for sharing! 👍😎
I like my Pilot ones, I use the Eno Color in soft blue for a non-copy blue.
I was never a fan of metal mechanical pencils, but now I might change my mind
I'll stick with my kura toga advance, but this does look nice.
Does it auto extrude?
I might get me one❤
i want this
I’d like to buy one. Any link?
Best I can think of is Jet Pens.
And Tokyo Pen Shop, they usually carry niche stuff
Shop here: amzn.to/3DE1KZ7
Do u need different leads on the pencil for changing shades?
@@dashadow8618obviously
@@dashadow8618yup it's basically for artist to know which lead type they are currently using

Hella expensive but still want one
The Japanese are amazing
remarkable tool... hehe
Meif I had this me in my class pencil fight
So, a more complicated NORMAL mechanical pencil!
Very cool but i will stick with my Pentels
I used something like this when i was taking architectural drawing classes 👍

Well that's actually looks like a mechanical pencil.
I mean when I hear the term mechanical pencil this is what I am expecting.
I’d like to buy one. Any recommended sellers?
Jet Pens
Jetpens , bungu , stationery pal , and Amazon store
Where’s the rotring video? Did an entire applied math bs with that beast. Never let me down great pencil.
No I can’t. My list of pencil to buy is stacking up…, must as another one. I shouldn’t but I will.
NEED this in an 0.7 lead.
I've always used a Rotring 800, how does this compare?

I like the other name they sell it by Ohto Super Pro Mecha
Nah... The Sakura 127 0.7 is more than enough 😂 just wish it was a tad bit heavier
Unfortunately i would just fidget with it too much
op
Just get a clutch pencil
When engineers are bored
Great for breaking up during an exam session
It's actually a mechanical pencil
47€...
Me who only like graph gear be like it's good but it's shit pencil
Pentel graphgear (my personal favorite) link just if you don’t want to spend that much money(don’t spend that much money on a mechanical pencil)
is it just me or no one uses the eraser in the back
This thing worth 6 graph gear 500
Try to get that hard to find gold graph gear 1000. And everyone want to rob you.

Such a useless item 😂....go buy a wooden pensil lol or buy a cheap mechanical pensil 😂
