The magnetic gate in specific points will lock up. it's due to the fields condensing and being squeezed and concentrated at specific points. Wish you were my neighbor...i've been working on designs like this and similar ones for the past 7 years. I've made some headway. The longest run time i've had is 7 minutes 4 seconds...but it always slows down and stops. Trying to work on a frictionless gearing system now.... where no parts touch.....( THAT A CLUE ) to ADD something to your set up to keep it going....( up down in out ) either one will work. you're going to have to incorporate another part to your setup by replacing some of your magnets from your ring and replacing those magnets with a swing arm...hint hint hint....you'll get it if you think about it long enough. I have a 3d printer and am incorporating THIS idea I have with the swing arm. I figured we are on the same path....renewable energy for a generator.....so...since we're like minded...and we both know the Government is HIDING specific tech from us...that I could help a bit and give you this same idea i'm working on.
