When i was 14 the school took us on a trip and me and my friends decides to climp the big hill took around 2 hours to get to the top there were some slides and shit so our 14 year old hormonal brains decided it would be the perfect idea to take the slides out together and play with it by pushing it over a few times then putting it back in place and we put that in our group chat ( we recorded it) Snitch sent it to the mayor of the fucking city we went into Our asses were lit for a month or two at school
True story but our boys group chat got leaked because a girl classmate was added in the group as a joke. The friend that added the girl thought that kicking the girl would prevent the girl from back reading. A few days later we all got sent to the principal for all the lewd, nasty, and dirty things we talked about including other classmates and teachers. We all got community service from the school because of it. ☕
Im 13 and I remember one of my friend have a group chat with all his other friend. The group chat is just full people saying racial slurs, cursing at each other, and even sharing a porn site link. My school dont allow us to curse. So when the group chat got leaked the whole class just become chaotic and i see the other class teacher punishing the student. So that one week of school is just the teacher hunting all the group chat member like a discord member genocide

@@sirelderly Close It was an overthrow attempt by capturing the heads of Nazi Hitler loyalists politics and military and by stating Hitler was dead and usurping power before he could realize the communication error and correct them The bomb plot was different and more subtle, this was outright cut off the head with its own tools
I went through this exact situation. I was the boss, the loyal one went down with me when I tried to protect my man. The imposter sold us out, and the doctor amazingly avoided getting caught before fleeing. The spokesman is long gone and the suicidal one ended up sneaking back in with the imposter. Life is much better for those of us that have moved on from the group chat being leaked. Still didn’t play out how we wanted since we were planning to leave anyways, and the imposter just sped it up before we could say goodbye.

Not sure why this got recommended to me but funny thing is this happened to me and a few of my friends about 4 months ago, except the imposter is replaced with the boss Just a specific gaming discord (I'm probably "the loyal one" somewhat ignored the drama but decided its better to go with the fun guys instead of the "boss") Story is The owner/boss got so much into the game to try and impress some girls, started simping, interviewing them after "hand selecting" their applications for the "clan" as you may call it, and how they insult him but he just brushes it off as.... flirting.... While the boys gets shat on muted booted and even banned for even confronting him, to the point he became paranoid and started banning even the most oldest member, we made a rant discord server, where we just yell into the void about how deranged he's become and his frequent outburst didn't make it fun anymore. Until one day one of the members of the rant server got wasted on a real life meetup that the leader like an insecure Girlfriend checks his phone and DISCORD of all things, found out, I only ranted once but he told me about it after kicking like 70% of the old and fun members out. (Probably cause I stream the game. Who doesn't love "publicity" in that community to rake in new players to the clan, just a minor streamer here.) I didn't pay no mind but he was watching my stream one day and I mentioned that, whatever he's doing that is on him, next day he banned me and everything and even used my entire stream time as "proof" of betraying him, dude didn't even clip what the supposed betrayal was lol. He forgot that the discord was for fun and games but I guess it became all too real for him. Literally live long enough to become the villain incarnate. TL;DR version Had a discord with friends for 4-5 years over a game, owner/leader slowly becomes easily angry when doing activities on said game, starts simping over long time friends, a few confront the him, he starts banning even the founders, then picks on me out of the blue and making me a prime example of a betrayer. Edit: Even more ironic is that the game we're playing is a WW2 simulator RTS MMO called "Foxhole"

I mean to be honest operation Valkyrie was doomed from the start even if they killed Hitler and managed to galvanize enough support amongst the army and german people the allies would still deny any kind of conditional surrender since they already decided what they were going to do with germany in the post war especially Stalin who would deny any treaty that doesn't involve at least some of germany being communist and the leaders at the end of a rope or in siberia

@@_courier7 This is still a Germany that hasn’t lost that one major tank battle in the East yet. Things are falling apart but they still have enough cards to scrape enough of a victory. The Entire war Germany and the USSR where negotiating. With Hitler dead Stalin might be willing to make peace out of the risk of his own generals doing the same to him if he doesn’t. However Germany will probably have to hand over large parts of Poland most likely restoring the pre-WW1 German Russian Border. With the Soviets out of the War Germany can focus everything on the western front to either retake France or at least hold the Border and try to at least hold onto the lowlands.
Even though you just saw the ending, Valkyrie is still a very good movie and you should watch it. Plus, if you know a bit of history about this you would've known the ending anyway.
Fun Fact: Most of these guys (at least the historical ones; some are only vaguely based on historical figures) depicted in the movie weren't some shining heroic figures. Only a few were actual diehard Anti-Nazis, most were opportunists who, had the war continued in Germany's favor, would've gladly sided with Hitler's Regime. Also, while they very much could've killed Hitler (indeed they very much got very close multiple times), their goal of a conditional peace with the West while creating an alliance with the West to finish off the Soviets was horribly unrealistic and predicated on a false assumption. They assumed that to the West it was Hitler that was the root of the problem, but that wasn't really the case. During the war in the eyes of the Western Powers, the view was that the root cause of the war was Prussian Militarism, of which the vast majority of the July 20th Plotters represented. So even if the July 20th Plot succeeded, there would've been no peace on the Western Front besides total unconditional surrender.
I think the West would be happy if the Germans wanted peace with them. Dont forget that even Churchill wanted to sign a peace with Hitler, but he only accepted unconditional surrender. Also the West wouldnt be sad if the Soviets get defeated by the Germans after the WW2.

Remember, at the time Stalin had been sold to the public as "Good Ol' Uncle Joe". Indeed, FDR, who was still president at the time, was mildly pro-Soviet. It wouldn't be until Harry Truman took over as President in the Spring of 1945 that American foreign policy would take a distinctly Anti-Soviet turn, but by then it was too late. The Anti-Soviet outlook was a distinctly Post-War phenomenon after it became painfully clear that Eastern Europe would not receive free elections and would instead become Soviet satellites. And on top of that, by July 1944 there really was no way the Germans would've been able to defeat the Soviets by themselves. The best they could hope for would've been a stalemate somewhere in Eastern Poland. So to defeat the Soviets the Germans absolutely required direct WAllied aid and not just in the form of Lend-Lease, but also in the form of direct military support (particularly air support; the Luftwaffe was effectively a nonentity at this point outside of ground-based air defense). This would've been seen as a totally unprovoked betrayal of a reliable ally, all in a bid to support a state that, up until now they had been at war since 1939. There's no way the Allied Public would've gone along with this. Remember, for years they were fed propaganda that was totally Anti-Nazi and Pro-Soviet. Don't allow the Post-War Cold War mentality color your viewpoint on what things were like in 1944. In 1944, the Russians were the good guys and the Germans the bad guys.

@@caribbeanjones I don't think you get the core of my argument: For the Western Allies during the war Nazism was NOT the root of the problem, Prussian Militarism was and Prussian Militarism would still exist if the July 20th Plotters succeeded. Also keep in mind that the notion that the Nazis represented a special kind of ultimate evil really hadn't taken hold yet and wouldn't until the truth of the Holocaust came out, which wouldn't begin to until the camps began to be liberated (which hadn't begun yet, on July 20th the WAllies were still in Northern France securing the breakout from Normandy). In short the Nazis were seen as a symptom of German aggression, not the root cause. The root cause was Prussian Militarism. So the WAllies, even though they would celebrate the death of Hitler, wouldn't suddenly see the replacement regime as any better and would continue to fight them unless they agreed to an unconditional surrender. The Western Allies were not at war with Nazism, but with Germany.

Everywhere we seem to go there is just more and more civilisation. Perhaps this is it from now on, I guess we shall see. Sean still has hope of escaping to paradise but I doubt him. Entry 3. Sean has been killed. He was like an annoying little brother to me, what fun we had together. His head was shot half off in an ambush. Still no paradise, and a shit load of trouble. i have no idea what most people are up to in group chats.. from what im reading, you all sound like class-a felons. just know that if someone in a gc makes you uncomfortable or says something an adult or authority figure wouldn’t want you to see, just leave. it sounds corny having to explain this like a therapy session, but it’s best to leave any situation (in an online gc) that could get you in trouble tbh

(I'm probably "the loyal one" somewhat ignored the drama but decided its better to go with the fun guys instead of the "boss")
Story is
The owner/boss got so much into the game to try and impress some girls, started simping, interviewing them after "hand selecting" their applications for the "clan" as you may call it, and how they insult him but he just brushes it off as.... flirting.... While the boys gets shat on muted booted and even banned for even confronting him, to the point he became paranoid and started banning even the most oldest member, we made a rant discord server, where we just yell into the void about how deranged he's become and his frequent outburst didn't make it fun anymore.
Until one day one of the members of the rant server got wasted on a real life meetup that the leader like an insecure Girlfriend checks his phone and DISCORD of all things, found out, I only ranted once but he told me about it after kicking like 70% of the old and fun members out.
(Probably cause I stream the game. Who doesn't love "publicity" in that community to rake in new players to the clan, just a minor streamer here.)
I didn't pay no mind but he was watching my stream one day and I mentioned that, whatever he's doing that is on him, next day he banned me and everything and even used my entire stream time as "proof" of betraying him, dude didn't even clip what the supposed betrayal was lol. He forgot that the discord was for fun and games but I guess it became all too real for him. Literally live long enough to become the villain incarnate.
TL;DR version
Had a discord with friends for 4-5 years over a game, owner/leader slowly becomes easily angry when doing activities on said game, starts simping over long time friends, a few confront the him, he starts banning even the founders, then picks on me out of the blue and making me a prime example of a betrayer.
Edit: Even more ironic is that the game we're playing is a WW2 simulator RTS MMO called "Foxhole"

@@_courier7 This is still a Germany that hasn’t lost that one major tank battle in the East yet. Things are falling apart but they still have enough cards to scrape enough of a victory. The Entire war Germany and the USSR where negotiating. With Hitler dead Stalin might be willing to make peace out of the risk of his own generals doing the same to him if he doesn’t. However Germany will probably have to hand over large parts of Poland most likely restoring the pre-WW1 German Russian Border. With the Soviets out of the War Germany can focus everything on the western front to either retake France or at least hold the Border and try to at least hold onto the lowlands.

Fun Fact: Most of these guys (at least the historical ones; some are only vaguely based on historical figures) depicted in the movie weren't some shining heroic figures. Only a few were actual diehard Anti-Nazis, most were opportunists who, had the war continued in Germany's favor, would've gladly sided with Hitler's Regime. Also, while they very much could've killed Hitler (indeed they very much got very close multiple times), their goal of a conditional peace with the West while creating an alliance with the West to finish off the Soviets was horribly unrealistic and predicated on a false assumption. They assumed that to the West it was Hitler that was the root of the problem, but that wasn't really the case. During the war in the eyes of the Western Powers, the view was that the root cause of the war was Prussian Militarism, of which the vast majority of the July 20th Plotters represented.
So even if the July 20th Plot succeeded, there would've been no peace on the Western Front besides total unconditional surrender.
I think the West would be happy if the Germans wanted peace with them. Dont forget that even Churchill wanted to sign a peace with Hitler, but he only accepted unconditional surrender. Also the West wouldnt be sad if the Soviets get defeated by the Germans after the WW2.
@@caribbeanjones Nope. By the time of the July 20th Plot Unconditional Surrender was official Allied policy and going back on it would've been politically untenable. Remember, at the time Stalin had been sold to the public as "Good Ol' Uncle Joe". Indeed, FDR, who was still president at the time, was mildly pro-Soviet. It wouldn't be until Harry Truman took over as President in the Spring of 1945 that American foreign policy would take a distinctly Anti-Soviet turn, but by then it was too late. The Anti-Soviet outlook was a distinctly Post-War phenomenon after it became painfully clear that Eastern Europe would not receive free elections and would instead become Soviet satellites.
And on top of that, by July 1944 there really was no way the Germans would've been able to defeat the Soviets by themselves. The best they could hope for would've been a stalemate somewhere in Eastern Poland.
So to defeat the Soviets the Germans absolutely required direct WAllied aid and not just in the form of Lend-Lease, but also in the form of direct military support (particularly air support; the Luftwaffe was effectively a nonentity at this point outside of ground-based air defense). This would've been seen as a totally unprovoked betrayal of a reliable ally, all in a bid to support a state that, up until now they had been at war since 1939. There's no way the Allied Public would've gone along with this.
Remember, for years they were fed propaganda that was totally Anti-Nazi and Pro-Soviet. Don't allow the Post-War Cold War mentality color your viewpoint on what things were like in 1944. In 1944, the Russians were the good guys and the Germans the bad guys.

Also keep in mind that the notion that the Nazis represented a special kind of ultimate evil really hadn't taken hold yet and wouldn't until the truth of the Holocaust came out, which wouldn't begin to until the camps began to be liberated (which hadn't begun yet, on July 20th the WAllies were still in Northern France securing the breakout from Normandy).
In short the Nazis were seen as a symptom of German aggression, not the root cause. The root cause was Prussian Militarism.
So the WAllies, even though they would celebrate the death of Hitler, wouldn't suddenly see the replacement regime as any better and would continue to fight them unless they agreed to an unconditional surrender.
The Western Allies were not at war with Nazism, but with Germany.

Entry 1.We were outnumbered. We managed to take down the all of them. At least that's what we thought. The co founder's leg got blasted with a cannon ball. Most of the members went to try and help him, while others ran despite the feds in the distance getting closer. Me and the founder called Sean ran for our lives. We found ourselves at a crossroad. They were on us now. We took the left road which lead us to a cliff face with water down below. We were desperate for another way. The feds advanced on us. Sean stalled them with a speech to buy us some time to figure something out. I remember him saying 'Can't fight change, can't fight nature, can't fight .... gravity' then just jumping off the cliff. I followed him off. The leader managed to swim on a river bank and pulled me up. We finally lost them. I am in hiding right now and am awaiting contact from fellow members. I am not sure what happened to the rest, most likely dead or captured. I can not disclose any more details as it is dangerous.
