What lighting is over the 20? Colors look fantastic
Hi Greg, it’s an Ai 16HD. 50% CW 35% Blues and UV. No red or green👍🏻
Tom the live rock in the back looks like a 🐊 gator head😮. …..rite!
I don't see it 😊
It becomes very nice this tank 😀
How can i keep my zoas small and tight? my zoas have a very tall neck. Have a nice week Tom
Hi Bruno, thanks! Your Zoas might be stretching for light. Try increasing your light intensity try 10-20% more and see what happens 👍🏻you have a nice week as well 😊
What coral did you get from fish guy mike?
The Chalice, the discosoma, the one cluster of zoanthids, and the green Kenya Tree👍🏻😊
Where are you getting your corals from? I remember you mentioned somewhere in paramus I think?
Hi Alex, Parsippany NJ. Mike sells out of his garage👍🏻😊
@TOMReefer great! Would like to stop by and see what he has myself. Would you be able tk sgare his contact?
Hey Tom can I ask you a question please, what would cause a star polyp not to open after 2 wks, can it be dead?
Can nitrites kill them, ?
Thanks for your help
Hi Jack, that happens all the time with GSP. It’s not dead, just dormant. It might be that way for weeks maybe more. My 10 gallon has very high phosphate and my green star polyp is beyond perfect. And that at one time disappeared for a while. 👍🏻
@@TOMReefer thanks my friend
When’s the 300 coming ?
Haha, 😃. Get me to 100k subs 🤪 then I can consider it 😃
I didn't know gorilla glue can be used, and didn't know it will work in water ???
Yes, it’s just gorilla version of cyanoacrylate gel. Originally Krazy glue, etc. they all make them now. I like the gorilla version because it has a little more gel consistency to it.👍🏻
@@TOMReefer thanks my friend
t, I do have a question? I am gonna add sand To my reef and want to know the best way not to get algea or diatoms with the new . I was thinking leave it in a bowl in the fuge for a month . How would you do it? Also I so far have saved my hawk fish but I am finding white poop and he is not eating rite. He is eating very little . So I soaked her Tana in his pellets. He ate 2. I just don’t know how long to do this for. Any ideas . Herbtana is all natural for parisites🪱🐳
As far as the sand goes, if it’s new sand it’s difficult to avoid diatoms. Only way is to expose it to light in another tank until they come and go. Even then, when you move it to the new tank you may get them again. Live sand has to be really old not to get diatoms. The fish should get through the white stringy poop in a week or so.
Thx Tom👌
