After being to both EDCO and EDCLV. I prefer LV a bit more. It's during the night and fireworks throughout the night which I prefer. EDCO during the day but the party still went going even after EDCO was done at homebass but ultimately it comes down to what you prefer
I was very reluctant on going to EDCO. I had never been to a EDM festival. I've been to plenty of music festival over the years and raves when I was in my early 20s. Just never to any thing like EDC. Im 36 and felt like I was too old to go. Not to mention, when i was on the scene it was early 2000s the music was entirely different. I'm so glad I went. Everyone had good vibes and I had the time of my life. Your video's encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and go. I must've said "This shit is crazy" at least 50 times throughout the night lol. I could only imagine what Vegas edc is like. I only went Friday night, but already bought 3 day passes for next yr. Keep up the good work Emma! Honestly, I dont think I would've gone if it wasn't for seeing your videos. Oh yeah, apparently I love G House! At least that's the genre I was told it was 😆
I started raving in the late 90s, first EDC was 2000, and fell out of the scene due to life around 2003 and didn't go to a single rave/edm event for over a decade. I stumbled across some EDCLV 2014 videos and was so blown away, I honestly did not even realize it was still a thing! I went to EDCLV 2015 as my first time back into the EDM scene and I have gone every year since and it has inspired me to make so many changes in life, from becoming an avid runner to get back in shape to going to shows all over my state and the country. EDC is LOVE and you are never too old or too far removed from the scene to find its embrace again!
I met a couple in their 50s at EDC LV, so you're not even close to "aging out". BTW, you MUST go to EDC LV at least once. I've been there 4 times, but I'll never forget my first time....so awesome
Like your response.. especially how you mention feeling to old to attend EDC my hubby just pissed me off when I told him all I wanted for my 42 birthday was to attend EDC Orlando this year 😥😥 I'm still in my prime n love to rave since my 20 too my first big event was ultra miami (I live in Miami so I had to be there for several years we attended actually) the last time I have really party was my 40th birthday saw Armin at the club here on Halloween (was amazing by the way) I know there's people of all ages n places that's part of the experience right??I still look good n I feel young n can still party hard core so thanks for sharing glad you enjoyed hopefully I will be as well👍

I've been to some "smaller" festivals (Ezoo, ACL) and EDCO blew every expectation I ever had for a live experience out of the fucking water. Before, the festivals I visited were amazing in their own respects, but after EDC I've been converted and can fully understand why the modern rave scene is so embraced. I can't even imagine what Vegas must be like. Bucket list for sure!
Great Comparison Emma! EDC Orlando was my first EDC outside of Vegas. I loved it and had a blast. EDCLV is totally different but you hit everything square right on the head! You just gained another subscriber to your fam! ALOHA from the small island of Hawaii! 😘

Great video! This will help a lot of people be prepared that stay in hotels I took my RV to EDC Vegas last year. RV camping is definitely the way to go! It was such a great experience! My next festival is Groove Cruise this January. Sooooo stoked for that! Then Shambahla in BC Canada next July. I decided to skip EDC this year but I might go again next year.
It's all about the music, so the vibes never die. The cold didnt faze me at all though. Plus, I went to EDCLV back when it was held in June and the heat can be brutal. It's still 100 degrees at midnight during the Vegas summer.

I definitely wanna do both! The Orlando one is right by me since I'm in Miami. But the Vegas one is the main one, and it sounds like the ultimate Vegas trip, so that's definitely on my bucket list
WAWA gas stations in Orlando have sub shops inside. Each night we would hit one up to get a sandwich to eat. Much healthier than the fast food stuff. Cause I agree, tons of fast food around Orlando. Side note, we were near Universal too at a Holiday Inn Express. We was crazy close! My group was 11 people and we just rented a 16 passenger van to get around. Made the cost about $45 per person total for the 4 days we use it. Totally worth it. I’ll be back at edc Orlando again in 2020. Already purchased my tix.
All the positives for EDCO! I've been going since the very first one in 2011, and it's been amazing to watch it grow from a simple festival to what it is today. This year, they definitely went all out! Next year will be my first year at EDCLV, so thank you for this!
What I did for EDCO was park near the Amway Center in the downtown area for $5 a night and then take the free Lymmo shuttle bus to the festival. If anyone is driving to EDCO next year I highly suggest doing that instead of paying $30/night to park at the venue. If you’re ubering, you can walk 3-4 blocks away from the stadium and you can hail a cab without the ridiculous surge pricing
@@paparazzi85 Yeah! They extended the shuttle route to Tinker Field this year. I parked in one of the lots on N Division, fed the meter $5 a night and it was good until 4:00am. I wish I knew that on Friday because I walked from there to EDC and I walked back to my car in that pouring rain so that wasn't fun haha

Emma, as for transportation to EDC Las Vegas i would recommend you take a party bus to EDC and back. Me and my group did one for EDC 2019 and it cost us all about $100 for all 3 days and you can bump music the whole way, drink, and party the whole way to EDC and back. Commute didn't take long at all either
Did both in 2018 Vegas being my first festival ever overall had an amazing time at both, besides my phone getting stolen in Orlando. Nothing compares to Vegas though you just can’t see it all and it’s going to bring me back year after year.
I recommend you do the helicopter, it's a must since EDCLV is your favorite festival. It's a must experience. I did it 2017, planning to do it again fit 2020, at least do it one way heading to EDC and shuttle back/ uber back.
Those helicopters you were seeing are actually Air Force Apache's from Nellis Air Force Base which is literally right across the street from the speedway here in North Las Vegas. Anyway, great information and I really enjoy your videos!
Gavin I’ve been to both multiple times and EDCO hands down wins. It’s not even close. Less congestion, nicer people attending the event, cheaper cost for same 3 day event (now)...you can’t beat it.
I preferred edc LV in June. As long as you drink enough water you were fine. My 1st edclv was in 2012 when I first turned 18 been going ever since. In 2012 it was the 1st weekend in June and the weather was still unpredictable in Las Vegas still the 1st night same issue as this year high winds cold temperatures they closed all the stages for about 2-3 hours. So the year after in 2013 they moved it to the last weekend in June when it was hot and honestly I liked it like I said all people had to do was drink water. Weather in May in Las Vegas is so unpredictable hope they go back to June.
While there are no good dining options near the EDC Orlando venue, next time you go back you should check out Disney Springs and some of the Disney hotels as they have many restaurants that are comparable to the ones on the Vegas strip. And some of the world's top chefs like José Andrés, Rick Bayless and Iron Chef Morimoto have opened restaurants there. Universal Orlando also has some pretty good places to eat and it's closer to Tinker Field.
Honestly though what an amazing EDCO to go to as your first one because EDCO was a little more simple the previous years! Also, I wish I could have met you I love your videos! Have a great day

Wow didn’t know you were at EDCO would of been nice to bump into you. But I guess sadly wasn’t my favorite trip. A lot of friends dropped out last minute and got phone stolen as you mentioned last day last set killed the whole vibe. Yeah it was a large amount of theft lost so many photos and pics. So didn’t enjoy it the way I should of so didn’t go last year. But line up was awesome. So got my tickets for this year might do VIP and got my tickets to do Vegas next year

iDunGoofedd capacity wise, edc Las Vegas surpassed tomorrowland this year with more attendees making it the biggest edm festival in the world! Stage wise, def not a comparison - Tomorrowland takes the cake.
Been to both EDCLV 4 times and EDCO 5 times and they are very different! The biggest thing would be the crowd/vibes are not as open as EDCLV. 2nd the size of the venue
I have been to all three the the grounds are better at Tomorrowland, but the VIBE at EDC is WAY better than the european bro festival! Nobody dances in tomorrowland its all fist pumps and djs talking into the mic, EDC fans are there for the music and tomorrowland its about the picture and the beer. EDC hands down way better experience.
I went to my first EDC last year (2019 Vegas), it was too cold and I also had VIP tickets but no one dared to go in the pool. I stayed at MGM Grand because I had free rooms but there was no crazy pool scene that I was hoping for. The lineup was good but there were too many times I wanted to see certain artists but they were both playing at the same time at different stages. I've been wanting to experience EDC for a long time and when I was finally able to go it seems I picked the wrong one and I have mixed emotions about it. Everyone was covering up and it ruins the art people dress up for.
If you drive to EDC Las Vegas it’s also another choice for those who drive there I done it every time I have gone and it’s not to bad if you work with the timing you want to be there it takes like 45 min to get to the venue and when leaving the venue it’s also 45 min or more depending .
I drove when I went to Vegas and it was smooth. I heard rumors travel to and from was a nightmare, but I found parking right up front and leaving 30 min before it ended I had absolutely no issues with traffic all 3 days.
Kinetic field stage is the same stage as the one in Vegas. Our main stage is usually the same stage used in Vegas. It think it’s the same size as well usually. This year was my first year going to any music festival and I’m glad I did my home town EDC first. It is smaller and I felt really safe there. Do NOT park in that neighborhood near the stadium. It’s called Perry. That is not a safe. That’s all I will say about that. I did feel really safe inside the festival and on the walk back to my car. As far as theft is concerned. It is kind of prevalent in Orlando but as long as you are taking precautions and keeping your belongings in sight you should be fine. We had no issues but a friend did get his phone stolen. I kept mine in my zipper bag in front of me or in my hand most of the time anyway so there’s that. They close down around midnight because the noise ordinance of Orlando is midnight or 1:00am so they actually can’t go passed that time. Tinker Field is surrounded by neighborhoods and local businesses so that’s the draw back if you’re wanting to party all night long lol.

I went to EDC Vegas 5xs and Edc Orlando 2xs, I love them both!!!!!! Vegas because its massive but I also like the smaller size of Orlando because it's easy to get to everything and no long lines.
I went to Both this year. Edc LV has more to offer of course. Just way overpriced. I thought it was very overwhelming cus to be honest, not everyone is going to experience everything in edclv. It was fucking cold this year. I couldn’t believe it. I went to 2017 and it was soo fucking hot. Go figure! EdcO honestly, yes it was small but the vibes were much better than Vegas. It was affordable but worth it. A bit overcrowding when it comes to rides but I’m more of a person that goes based on vibes and edc Orlando is very intimate. I loved it more than vegas. Idk what you guys think?

Just sayin this isn't the EDCO to be comparing to LV. I've been going for 5 years to edc orlando and this year was one of the worst ive seen cause they are getting to big. The Main stage Kinetic field speakers were turned down wayy more then they ever have been. Electric corona beach had more volume with less speakers. was really sad tbh. Neon garden & Circuit grounds were cranking tho.

Wow didn’t know you were at EDCO would of been nice to bump into you. But I guess sadly wasn’t my favorite trip. A lot of friends dropped out last minute and got phone stolen as you mentioned last day last set killed the whole vibe. Yeah it was a large amount of theft lost so many photos and pics. So didn’t enjoy it the way I should of so didn’t go last year. But line up was awesome. So got my tickets for this year might do VIP and got my tickets to do Vegas next year
I went to EDCO for the first time as well this year and actually stayed at the same hotel as you. Saw you all three days, didn’t know of you yet, and a week later saw your videos. 😭Your channel is awesome, glad to hear you’ll be going next year too!

iDunGoofedd capacity wise, edc Las Vegas surpassed tomorrowland this year with more attendees making it the biggest edm festival in the world! Stage wise, def not a comparison - Tomorrowland takes the cake.
Been to both EDCLV 4 times and EDCO 5 times and they are very different! The biggest thing would be the crowd/vibes are not as open as EDCLV. 2nd the size of the venue

I have been to all three the the grounds are better at Tomorrowland, but the VIBE at EDC is WAY better than the european bro festival! Nobody dances in tomorrowland its all fist pumps and djs talking into the mic, EDC fans are there for the music and tomorrowland its about the picture and the beer. EDC hands down way better experience.

You should compare EDC Orlando with EDC Mexico
I went to my first EDC last year (2019 Vegas), it was too cold and I also had VIP tickets but no one dared to go in the pool. I stayed at MGM Grand because I had free rooms but there was no crazy pool scene that I was hoping for. The lineup was good but there were too many times I wanted to see certain artists but they were both playing at the same time at different stages. I've been wanting to experience EDC for a long time and when I was finally able to go it seems I picked the wrong one and I have mixed emotions about it. Everyone was covering up and it ruins the art people dress up for.

If you drive to EDC Las Vegas it’s also another choice for those who drive there I done it every time I have gone and it’s not to bad if you work with the timing you want to be there it takes like 45 min to get to the venue and when leaving the venue it’s also 45 min or more depending .

I drove when I went to Vegas and it was smooth. I heard rumors travel to and from was a nightmare, but I found parking right up front and leaving 30 min before it ended I had absolutely no issues with traffic all 3 days.
I went to EDC Orlando I liked it but it ends early. I prefer EDC LV

How is the security at both festivals?
Kinetic field stage is the same stage as the one in Vegas. Our main stage is usually the same stage used in Vegas. It think it’s the same size as well usually. This year was my first year going to any music festival and I’m glad I did my home town EDC first. It is smaller and I felt really safe there. Do NOT park in that neighborhood near the stadium. It’s called Perry. That is not a safe. That’s all I will say about that. I did feel really safe inside the festival and on the walk back to my car. As far as theft is concerned. It is kind of prevalent in Orlando but as long as you are taking precautions and keeping your belongings in sight you should be fine. We had no issues but a friend did get his phone stolen. I kept mine in my zipper bag in front of me or in my hand most of the time anyway so there’s that. They close down around midnight because the noise ordinance of Orlando is midnight or 1:00am so they actually can’t go passed that time. Tinker Field is surrounded by neighborhoods and local businesses so that’s the draw back if you’re wanting to party all night long lol.

Vegas because its massive but I also like the smaller size of Orlando because it's easy to get to everything and no long lines.

I went to Both this year. Edc LV has more to offer of course. Just way overpriced. I thought it was very overwhelming cus to be honest, not everyone is going to experience everything in edclv. It was fucking cold this year. I couldn’t believe it. I went to 2017 and it was soo fucking hot. Go figure! EdcO honestly, yes it was small but the vibes were much better than Vegas. It was affordable but worth it. A bit overcrowding when it comes to rides but I’m more of a person that goes based on vibes and edc Orlando is very intimate. I loved it more than vegas. Idk what you guys think?

Just sayin this isn't the EDCO to be comparing to LV. I've been going for 5 years to edc orlando and this year was one of the worst ive seen cause they are getting to big. The Main stage Kinetic field speakers were turned down wayy more then they ever have been. Electric corona beach had more volume with less speakers. was really sad tbh. Neon garden & Circuit grounds were cranking tho.
