It would be interesting to learn how a small independent producer of model kits makes the magic happen. How is the model designed? Prototype created? How many kits are made in a “run” of production? How are kits priced? Since you build and create, you’re the perfect person to share your thoughts.
Jason, great video. I enjoyed watching it while having a cup of coffee. Great tip on using the old toothbrush to clean off the excess glue, it would work better than an old paint brush. The details in those kits at N Scale is amazing, and great colour tip on the details so they don't blend in, I will use that one. Thank you for sharing, cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Excellent video Jason, love the tutorial part of the pier. I think David Barrett has a great idea there too. I’m always blown away by your color schemes and detail imagination concepts.
I absolutely loved this tutorial - learned so much from it! Thank you Jason. PS: I know you had fun installing the shingles on that pyramid shaped roof!
Informative tutorial never disappoints Jason, great seeing yet another layout come alive.. HO , SciFy and now N scale layouts added to basement.. imagination, creativity comes alive .. awesome work, details explained to follow.. motivation runs through your veins my friend.. Happy Modeling 🎶☕️☕️☕️✌️
@@donbeyer5074 Thank you so very much!!! My first love was HO because my grandfather introduced me to it but I’m really, really enjoying N scale. I absolutely love working so small and the builds seem to go so fast. I’m so glad I’m working in N scale now because someday my vision won’t allow me to. I just love the hobby no matter what scale I’m working in. Thanks for watching!
@@trishameigs1554 That’s awesome!! I also have N scale kits on my website at jasonjensentrains.com Just in case you want some variety, 😉 Thanks for watching!!!
Hi Jason, another great video. I have a question if you could help me. I see you and Doug using weights to square things and add to walls to keep then straight. where can I buy them and what are they called. Thank you for your videos and to let you know I just bought my first kit from you tonight. Looking forward to getting started on it. Thank again, Bob.
$52 and $45 for the kits. Nice looking structures but too much for us budget model railroaders. Looks like a trip to Hobby Lobby for me to buy a few sticks of wood and a pad of Bristol board. How about doing a scratch budget series.
@@user-sv4pj5jl8n They do offer a discounted price on their website if you order both. With all of the detail parts, rope, wooden dowels, fish nets, a crane and more, it’s so worth the price. But I do understand some people are on a tight budget. Thank you so much for watching!!’
Oh men! That build is so sweet! I love it. Thanks for showing.

You should use roof shingles more often. They really add a lot of detail, and they are probably more period accurate than all the tar-paper.
