Honestly, it just makes me think about how easy it is to copy Aphmau's current content, because it's so... easy? But the fact they got talented VA's to dub over, but then again, it's the same for Aphmau's content. It's all just scripted anyways.
But I'm surprised at how far this went for like a dubbing channel. lol
Even if it wasn't real, its still harmful to copy other's work. Aphmau repeatedly asked them to stop copying her, and they blatantly continued

This is a shock...I don't know if it's a good thing or worse thing that Skylin was all just a project.
It sounds as scripted as it's said to be, even more so than some of Aphmau's videos. The conversations don't feel natural at all. My social spidey senses went off immediately once you played the actual clips.

Damn that sounds hella possible, just watching those clips i can feel that the voice acting is cut and stitched to together to form interactions, and with that kind of idea of it all being worked of of fiver voice actors and operated as a project ( since if it's 1 person's pure passion project / work then they probably wouldn't have 2 groups of people for 2 audiences ( but the russian speaking audience is prevalent on youtube ) so it might be possible that the 2 channels aren't ''fake'' ) and tbh there is no proof that ''skylin'' as in the owner of the channel / project isn't real, it's just that the lead character in the videos isn't also the person making the whole thing

I feel like this is true and it actually makes sense I looked at the Russian channel and it was exactly like the English one and to think that they didn't really know what they were doing makes more sense that her just being a copycat almost exact.

From the start I knew it wasnt legit. like you can just hear it from the voice, everything is scripted. More so scripted than Aph's. And the conversations didn't really match up to me, it was not natural AT ALL! tho I don't know why they would copy Aph's video ideas AND THUBNAIL.

I think the Russian channel is copying Aphmau as well because all the characters are the same and on Skylin’s channel the first video was almost the same as Aphmau’s
Skylin is a content farm made by a company, channels like annaoop and troomtroom are also content farms formed by companys.
Maybe try comparing which channel or video camera first.

i have a few thoughts ,
one i think that the russian channel is a genuine trying channel because as you can see their pfp isnt as polished .im not sure if thats just not the best art or that the channel is trying for original content and just cant make any so they turn popular channels.
two the voice actors clearly had no idea (in reference to Skylin ) because of what was said in one of the anonymous persons email it was along the line of im sad i worked with her we had no idea this wasnt original .
lastly obviously im late to this but this just came up and i thought i should address my thoughts .so yeah , the origina i think may be true but the english is obviously paid and fake ,as shows with the robotic voice acting and copied work.

kinda late to comment but how do we know that the english version isn't supported by the russian version? language dub channels aren't super popular (think of El Smosh), but it's understandable how a company/group would think that an english version of their Russian sow might be profitable. though stealing/ripping off Aphmau is going a bit too far

Yes she does copy aphmau but there are so many death threats and harassment and more mean words she apologized and skyline she changed her channel her vids aren't bad but still a even if she copied she already apologized

i think this is all scripted(skylin). The director aims to get more attention from copying aphmau, and the ones who are playing the characters are the staff while the actual voice actors just voices the characters through recordings and scripts.
