Caroline DuCharme is way too fragile. How many concussions has she had? You fart next to her and she is out 10-15 games with a concussion. Don't get me wrong she is good when healthy but she can't seem to stay healthy. I am almost at the point of saying it is a wasted scholarship, but I'll give her the benefit unless she gets injured again. Regardless of the knee surgery, can Paige Bueckers hold up, I am not sure about Azzi's knee...did she have surgery or did she just rest it? I am wishing UCONN WBB the best this year...Let's Go Get A Championship!
I've been a UConn fan since 1996 and I've enjoyed every team, every year. But the truth is without DeBerry finally asserting herself and becoming the force her talent says she can be, this team will not be able to beat the bigger, more physical teams in the tournament. That includes SCar and LSU. Ice seems a fine young player, but she doesn't, from what I've seen, play up to her 6'3" size quite yet.
Geno Auriemma is a great all time coach. I always thought he would try to want the challenge coach mens NCAA one time but he didnt. he certainly didnt have to but he is at the highest place for the womans game and some times you want to see what else you can do and try a new challenge. it just surprises me. he would have probably succeeded. mens coaches move up to the next challenges all the time. for him to move up he have to coach mens teams. but he didnt have to and didnt.

Have been a Geno Fan. Loved the rivalry with Pat Summit DianaTautasi. When asked why they kept winning he said cause we have Diana and they dont

IIRC there's an open scholarship and knowing Geno and his staff they are scouring the WORLD for a big to bang with the more physical teams.
