I bicycled through Wenatchee on US 2 in the summer of 1971 and marveled at the orchards and the road side stands selling cherry juice drinks. It was great. I particularly remember Moses Coulee east of the area, now thought to be an outflow channel for glacial lakes. I also remember the 15% humidity east of the coastal range. Never experienced that before.
Good to see you again. Have you not been posting, or has youtube offered me other vids? We have moved to a small town (Colonial Beach VA) with flat trike-able roads and triking has become an alternate choice to town, restaurants, neighborhood touring. The big excursions (3 days+) are yielding to age, but we are happy to get what we can. Will continue to look for your adventures. Blessings.
Another nice video of your trike trip. On a flat how fast is Ryan going on his hand cycle? I find it amazing that using his upper body strength that he can generate that much force.
I love being out (I have Fat Tad CXS) but gates are lame. Thanks for including that because I haven't done any riding in WA and I plan to do a lot once I get my upgrades finished (it breaks a lot, trying to make it stronger); it's good to be reminded that land use laws and types of restrictions are going to vary from state to state even though I'm like 8 miles from Longview on the Oregon side I really have never gone there. I've been working on itineraries for the peninsula and seeing how many ferries I can hit in a day, stuff like that. :-) Apples should be coming in for the next few months; had a friend lived there for some years (you have massive mosquitoes). Thanks for recording this and putting it up for us to enjoy.
Wonderful video! I loved the jazzy music and wildlife!
@@redtail59 thanks, redtail. The music is always the hardest part of putting these videos together.
❤❤❤ Thank you for sharing your ride! I always enjoy seeing what catches your eyes.😊
@@PhyllisBoone-sn8oi thanks! You know I love all wildlife.

@@schsch2390 wonderful. I’m going to take Hwy 2 from Wenatchee to Reardon to get the Trail of the Couer d’Alenes next year as part of a 6 month tour.
your are so awesome, have a fantastic night
Thank you!!
Riding your trike seems to bring out those mood lifting endorphins, Sylvia. Thanks for sharing your happiness, and all those spectacular birds!😁
@@gmaneis thank you! Yes, triking is fun and I love meeting the community.

@@denisbessette7219 thank you! Yes, I took a few month break and am back! Congrats on your move to a trike-friendly town.
Robin’s trike looks very interesting. What did you call it.

@@clydekaneshiro5250 oh yes, Ryan was easily riding 20 mph. He is very strong and likes to push his limits. I think hand-cycles are cool.

@@russellzauner the trails are very nice although, at the moment, the heat is scorching. I guess the apples like heat. Take care!!
Awesome. I have seen the hand Trike’s and wondered why the hand pedal work together. Could the be made to work like foot pedals. Just wondering.
@@vickiporter7144 there’s someone in Portland that had a custom hand and foot recumbent built. It’s cool and fast.
@@TravelsByTrike IF I recall, legs are about 3 times as powerfull as arms on aveage, so would be about 25% more power than just legs.
Posted a beautiful comment mentioning osprey and bald eagle, but YT did not post it!
