Starting off the new year I ordered the stretched fenders, ordered the trims/lights, mocked it all up, sent fenders & tank out for paint, waited 2 months, received newly painted parts, installed, filmed, edited, uploaded.

And I finally got my bike to where yours WAS before this... Man that thing is on another level, eventually I hope to get mine to full cholo. That's the best stretched rear fender I've seen, love how it outlines the rear wheel perfect.

I’m glad to see you back man,since the last time we spoke I bought a 96 fatboy started a cholo myself but I was way ahead of the game because the previous owner has done some really good clean mods.you inspired this man.wanted to get a deluxe but this bike is so clean,one owner and it sounds amazing because of the carb.please keep up the work dude,you have some of the best videos on UA-cam right now,content and quality

That Cholo Machine look mean Bro. S&S 475 cam is a must if u love the way they rap in the upper RPM wait when u hear it at a idle. It will sound Nuckley. Right now it sounds like any bike with Samson exhaust

Not too many cholos here on the east coast, they are here but it's pretty rare to see one
I lived in SC for 3 years and now in GA.....still haven't seen another cholo. All i see is baggers, which i like......but i love my cholo much better and being the only makes it even better IMO.
The way I see it, let them all have the same bike, all road glides/street glides. When you ride up jake braking those non-baffled fishtails on a full Cholo you just became the new sheriff in town.

It's an expensive game for sure, and this build didn't happen overnight. I've been at it for 3 years now, piece by piece. Doing the work yourself and the philosophy of "buy once, cry once" will dramatically reduce costs.

Almost time for my build to get underway did you use pearl in the white paint or no? Im looking at white pearl for house of kolor
Yeah, it's a HOK paint called Sno White Pearl. I had my painter double the applied coats to achieve a slightly more off-white color without getting the yellowing effect. I think it came out nicely, it's not an extreme pearl, but it's definitely there.

When mounting your front fender did you use anything to reinforce the fiberglass where it mounts to the forks to prevent cracking?

I love what you have done with your videos and the Bike looks Amazing!! I just got a 2003 heritage last fall. I got the DNA Rims a few weeks ago 21 in front and 18 in the rear. I LOVE them. Thanks for the tip to go to the 18 in the rear. I have so many custom things I want to do my head is spinning. PS. The wife dose not like when you come out with a new video. She has figured out that means new parts for my bike again LOL. You do great work and hope to see your bike someday. Will you ever get to Sturgis?

Thanks man, the pipes are made by steady custom cycles. No dyno, because it really didn't change, except for 4 additional inches of pipe. No heat shields either, just like the samsons. I guess because it's straight pipe and it's far enough away from the source of the heat that they'll never get hot enough to turn blue, just my guess. We'll see though.
I have a 08 heritage softail slowly getting there got a big ol 21 on the front and 18 inch apes right now and I got the headlights you bought in a previous video
Nice, yeah it's a timely and expensive process. I've been working on this build for over 3 years. Lots of people want to build a cholo in a week, but unless you have an extra $15k for parts lying around and a team of mechanics then it'll take months or years. Keep up the building and good luck with that heritage.

John. Love your videos. They are so professionally well done they look like the beginning of a feature film. One question? Have you thought of getting rack/lift table to work your bikes. I use my small jack as well, but only for easy stuff that require little effort. I cringe every time I see you turn that big bike around on that little jack. Just a thought. I will be getting a Deluxe donor bike soon and will cholo it. Happy Holidays.

You have to rake it like 4°, the front wheel looks to close to frame .. ..Im sure you know what I'm saying. HHI makes a nice kit ,i have it on my softail with a 21" and a 240mm on the back. looks sick...
I was thinking about a rake kit, I may change to a 23" if I do. Possibly a project for next winter

I hope you read this comment. You will be glad you did. Cuztom Kraft tail lights. The baddest lights on the market. Nothing like them anywhere. They snap right on to your existing tail lights on the softail. Everyone that sees these tail Lights on my bike ask where i got them from. I love the old school look and these tail lights will set it OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are a quality part very well made . A bit price $$$ but worth every penny.
