This video is for Educational and Demonstration purposes only!
Since childhood, I had an idea to make a miniature cannon, although so much time has passed, but I still had this idea.
So I decided to make a miniature Cannon. It can shoot by the way.
In order to make such a Cannon, you will need a whole workshop, a lathe, a milling machine, several weeks of effort.
If you have any crazy ideas or suggestions, please write them down

工業高校だったので 実習の時間を懐かしく思い出す
3 Frippy 学年上がる事に違いますが、1年生の間は週一で実習がありますよ〜だいたい3時間くらい使って、機械科は旋盤とフライス、溶接に鍛造をやります
実習じゃなければ、工作や工業技術基礎、情報処理など専門的な知識を広く浅く勉強します
深く勉強したい場合は、資格勉強の際に教えて貰えます

I like the starting the milling with the putting on the safety glasses. That was awesome.
Lathe metal work with brass was my favourite at school, made model cannons too, not working though. I just found a rediscovery, thanks.
I wasn't as creative, I just made brass one hitters in high school shop class :-(
True craftsmanship. Might i add that with your skill, copper projectiles from stock could be made and you could get a good powder combo and have a truly amazing capability. This is no toy. Awesome work!

Pour ma part, j'ai un petit tour à métaux (un Holzmann ED300ECO) et j'ai réalisé une réplique en laiton du Canon Obusier de 12 livres, époque Napoléon 3.
Mais je ne pense pas le rendre fonctionnel. Il faut encore que je fasse l'affût de Marine en bois (celui de campagne est trop compliqué), et je n'ai pas percé de trou pour la mèche.

You make machining look easy.

It always fascinated me how the metal get polished when rubbing with rough material.
This can be achieved with using a lower grit sandpaper and working your way gradually to a higher grit sandpaper or more refined. Each time you're basically resurfacing the outter layer. Scratching it. The higher grit the more polished it becomes

And the next cannon, for there will be a next, would perhaps be a scaled down version of the legendary flak 88mm so you can hit bullseye ;-)
As for ideas - anything involving firewood, wood chippers and woods/trees are always fun.
And crazy ideas - I am fond of practical jokes and think the "jack in a box" is severly underrated these days.

Всегда есть варианты и один из - вставить маленькую свечу (вверху), зажечь и понимай, как можешь - то ли символ по погибшим в войнах, то ли "мы - мирные люди, но, наш бронепоезд стоит на запасном пути".

They actually make a tool for turning rounds on a lathe, Adam Savage has one.. he used it on a project on Tested.

Watching someone turn metal is oddly satisfying to me.
I strongly recommend you use gloves and be gentle with the brushing when you use the bluing liquid. VERY dangerous chemicals. Not unique to that brand, they are all the same. Love the cannon!
