its funny that since this game was pretty easy, the ultra patch makes it resemble other touhou games a lot more than making it ungodly hard, aside from a few sections. but youstill have the release ability to clear bullets away easily. a lot of ultra extras you just have to bomb everything
This is like, a prime example of how egregious Okina's plot armor is in stage 6. If you have to artificially increase the difficulty to make Okina challenging enough that it costs you 1/4th of your lives in the extra stage, then the thing where she steals your sub weapon in stage 6 feels like railroading. And you NEVER railroad someone into failure. EVER.
Narratively it makes sense, since Okina's the one making the season subweapons, you're essentially trying to beat her with her own power. In the Extra stage the characters are using a different source so she can't steal their power and send them away.
I saw this and thinks this is the true extra if this is not a revenge stage... Edit: but you can beat her by shooting her down at her survival spell...

So what is up with that blue erasing thing? It looks a bit broken. You can simply go into whatever pinch situation there is and can use that thing seemingly endlessly.
Yea. Its called releases. You get them from those little things you graze and kill faeries. releasing also gives you those little things to stack your release if it cleared a bullet. Depending on which release you chose, you also get different final spells. All of the releases: Spring: giant as hell bullet clearance from releasing. Small homing sakura subshots. Hardest final spell. Summer: spammable release. Small spread out ice pellets sub shots. Fall: makes you alot faster (if you are using aya and uses this release its the same speed as touhou 11 reimu aya not shooting and focusing speed) and the release follows you. Tengu birds shooting on your sides subshot. Winter: A REAAALLLLLY LOOOONG RELEASE. Also increases your normal shot damage. A laser subshot. Only one ball can shoot laser. Although theres a bug if you hold Z continously without letting it go, all of the ball shoots out lasers increasing your damage by a significant amount. Extra release(only in extra stage): spammable release, slowly going downwards as it gets smaller. Shooting your back subshots. The only spammable releases are summer and extra. Uses 1 stock of release stack everytime you release. Every other releases uses all of your release stack once you release.
Imagine not using season releases on this game. It's going to be hell in lunatic since players might rely on that tactic for this game. But it is really chaotic without them however

NOW THIS is a great clear, I truly admire the Ultra patch as this makes this Extra a lot more fun ~ At least in my opinion.
What's the point of calling it a "1cc" when you have to pretty much to 1cc an extra stage to complete it, since no continues?

Ezra Aftarekh I decided to leave survival "as-is", without shooting her down. For me doing that is basically a filthy cheating.

It's the game's C key, and all 5 types are broken in some way.

It's because the character's hitbox is a lot smaller than the actual Sprite (showcased by that little dot at the centre of the sprite shown at times).
