A Trip To The O&A Show

- I posted this back in January 2009, but it was pulled for copyrighted music, so we'll see if this version of the song will let it stay up this time.
This is a video of my last trip to see the show live on 1/19/09. Jimmy had performed at the Borgata the night before, so naturally Anthony called in ...sick. Bob Kelly and the great Patrice O'Neal were in that day. They interviewed Fedor Emelianenko as well as 13-year old JC (linger longer). This was shot (poorly) with a flip cam.
This will be my final upload. Thank you all for listening (and now finally watching)!
The simple fact that it had Patrice makes this video epic - thank
Than you Yarsh29 for all your o&a clips. I keep replaying these to this day when all the good times are over. Respect.
You are so lucky to have been able to see that show live in its prime. I would say ‘07-‘11 before Patrice passed were the best years of the show. There was something special about that show. Idk what it was. I guess it was just everything. Opie, Ant, Jim, and all of their comedian friends, even the people on staff. Everyone was perfect together. This show taught me that you can laugh at a bad joke. “car crash”
it peaked in the walkover days
the cherry darts era was the top part of the show :)
It feels like as soon as the Stern show started to get stale this show really came into it's own and surpassed the best of the Stern show. Never gonna get another one like this
@@Spootnik they picked up the slack once stern turned into a yenta circa 2005
Seeing Patrice always makes me so sad. He and Anthony Cumia are some of my fav people. As far as entertainment goes. RIP Patrice.
Sad well I know how to cheer you up...Ted's big black comedian emporium
I miss Anthony Cumia as much as I miss Patrice. He's rarely funny now. Praying for some kind of A+J show in the future.
@@TweekDash You and thousands of others. I love Jimmy, but Sam is unbearable.
@@TweekDash he has a spark now and then on other people's shows. But definitely not his own. Has a couple of good Legion of Skanks appearances. But it's nothing like the glory days, for sure.
@@TweekDash He is just awkward these days. All he does is trying to be funny, failing miserably, then looking at either the camera or the people in the boardroom, like he is desperately looking for confirmation on his unfunny ramblings.
Hope all is well Yarsh, you were a big part of me loving this show
Just checking your channel, without viewing this video makes it seem like you visited them and then immediately stopped being a fan lmao.
Holy crap, you got Patrice and Steve C on here! Pretty cool ")
agreed, RIP Patrice...and Steve C
YESSSSSSSSS
_nnnyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeesssssssssstttthhhhh_
I went from Sweden in 2013. So cool!
Patrice and Anthony debates are some of the best radio bits ever. nothing better on the air than those two trashing each other
Yet, respected one another.
If you watch these fire starting, politically driven cunts in the media, you would think we're not capable of having differing views while still respecting and laughing with one another.
Patrice O'Neal legend greeting his fans
I only became a die hard O&A fan shortly after the merge, but thanks to UA-cam channels like yours, I have been able to listen and thoroughly enjoy their antics at XM, WNEW and even WAAF. This video really gives an awesome insight on what exactly I missed... Really cool!
Really a great video, perfectly captures how great it must have felt to go and be a part of the show in that way.
Makes me more than a little envious, I got into these guys long after they went off the air, so I'll never get to experience this. At least thanks to this video I'm able to see what it was like.
I even liked the antics on “the shit show”. All of the behind the scenes drama. Then I couldn’t wait until O&A talked about it the next day.
You'll never know how much you helped progress my love for these guys, Yarsh.
Your services will be remembered fondly, bitchtits
Peace out Yarsh. Thanks for the videos.
Patrice, miss that guy
awesome

Godspeed, Yarshykins

I always hoped to see a video like this . I'm incredibly jealous ,great job yarsh.
Ahhh... the hudson line. I feel like I'm going to work
I’m jealous wish I could ev been there
10 fucking years :(
wow what a crazy video, cool how O&A let their fans be apart of the show
Your videos are great they will be missed.
Why did you stop uploading?
full blown aids
Yarsh29 you're quitting the upload scene? Sad to see you go brother.
peace yarsh, thanks for the laughs.
Poughkeepsie? Why don't you get rid of the Pough? Tsss. *car crash*
You should've shot out the other side of the Metro North and filmed the almost constant trash dump.
what was going on that allowed people to come in? ughhh my dreammmm.
2:10 Patrice!!!
Who does this version of Ecstasy of Gold?
Metallica, can't you tell by the terrible chord phrasing and out of sync drumming?
I like chip because I've hated him so long, I've broken through to the other side. Very strange?
