Who hit the big shots in the last few minutes of G6? FVV with the go-ahead 3, Kyle with the fadeaway 2, and Siakam's floater. Yes, Kawhi deserves credit for getting the Raptors that far, but it was the role players that pushed the Raptors past the finish line.

This team was something special. This season was something special. I know Kawhi was a major force of why we won, but we couldn’t of done it without Kyle, Serge, Marc, Danny, Freddy, Pascal. Loved JV and DeMar but we weren’t gonna make it with them. The trades were essential in order for a championship to even be relevant. We defined all odds and did what they said was impossible. WE THE CHAMPS ❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦🥂🥂

I love how there's absolutely zero expectations for this team especially from the media and so called "experts". Our defence will still be elite and i think we will surprise a lot of people. ESPN had magic finishing above us which is just insulting tbh lmao

IIRC the Boston game at the beginning was the second game of the season and after seeing the double block by Danny and Kawhi, I remember thinking to myself "This is gonna be a good year." Just in that moment, you could sense something was different.

There were alot of great moments in the 2018-19 season, but Kawhi's game 7 ECF game winner should go down in history as one of the greatest shots of all time. Not only because of how amazing the shot itself was and everyone's reaction afterwards, but also because it allowed Toronto to beat the superteam Warriors in the finals and ended the Warriors super team era.
I think this season was one of the best NBA seasons we've seen in a while thanks to Dame's huge game winner against OKC in the playoffs, Klay setting the new NBA record for most 3s in a game, Harden's ridiculous clutchness at the end of that one Warrior's game, VanVleet's hot streak after the birth of his child, and more. These are all legendary moments and show the league is in a very entertaining stage right now with clutch moments from so many different all stars. We may be entering a golden age of basketball after the fall of the Warriors, and I'm very excited to see what happens next season and to see who will be the next LeBron, Kobe, MJ
As a Spurs fan I’ll be rooting for the Raptors for years to come

I remember when i saw kawhi hit THAT game winner, i thought back to the portland game where he did the same thing, but then forgot danny green made the same shot against orlando. Surprised no coach caught onto that last possession inbound play

Feels like 2019 was the last real NBA season after covid hit and altered the league with shortened seasons and bubbles, we still haven't had a full 82 game season since this one.
That no look steal still gets me man. Fucking guy's ridiculous. Also that Philly sneak peak of things to come at 8:13.
It’s crazy that it’s been 4 years since the championship season. Kawhi left a chance to win a few more rings. The bubble would’ve been a wrap, 21 would’ve probably been close to a wrap. And who knows if he would’ve signed beyond those years. At max a 4 peat, at min a 3 peat. People will say “oh they only won it all cause of Kawhi”. Look at the roster. There are starters in today that were legit bench role players back then. So much depth, height, length, IQ, toughness. As a Raptors fan who has seen it all this team was pure beauty. Unfortunately Kawhi chose a path that ultimately haunt him. But going home and family is important so can you really blame him??? Its 2023 and I think maybe the Clippers have one realistic year left of competing and more than likely nothing more than a 1st round exit will come out of it. But at the end of day it’s not about them. It’s nice too look back on this team. Who the hell knows what’s gonna happen in the future. But at least they have a team they can model after. That’s something at least right?? We will see. No matter what tho, 2019 forever
I think J.V. deserves a ring. He's been a big part for the Raps in the regular season. Though Marc Gasol does his job better, he still deserve to be appreciated for his hard work and dedication for the team.
