Im only 7 bosses in, (just beat Luxord) and Xigbar might be my favorite. At first it feels totally lame and demeaning to just get comboed by his dumb projectiles, but once you be patient and accept that he controls the pace of the fight, you slowly but sure take him down. Showdown also admittedly does a great amount of damage, too. His DM is one of my favorites ever. This was a great guide.
Probably because you have aerial dodge equipped. It changes aerial dash to aerial dodge during combat and it covers much less distance. If you unequip that and only keep the aerial dashes you cover much more distance

Dude oml i CANNOT do that stuff you do in the beginning. No way.
During "Showdown", I just kept spamming the Pause button until my prompt to attack.

I’m not understanding how you’re covering the initial distance. Neither the air dash nor the aerial sweep is long enough to reach xig. I’m lvl 99
