Hey great video! I'm so glad I got recommended this. I've never worked at a Starbucks but I used to frequent them a lot and I was always shocked by the just like, baseline level of anger of other customers. They all would crowd around the pickup counter like they were just waiting for something to be angry about.
Also so many full grown adults who seemingly just could not comprehend that they were not the only customer in the store? On multiple occasions I'd watch people go in, order, then walk over to the pickup area and get upset and complain if their drink wasn't the literal next one to come out. I always had so much secondhand stress for the employees!

Absolutely! I was in the same position as you before I found out about this, I've never worked there but I was completely surprised at how childlike a lot of people can be in such a concentrated area lol. You're a very empathetic person! Thanks for the comment!

Hey there! I really liked this video and I hope you can get some more subscribers/comments in the future because the quality of this video content definitely does not match with the less than 1000 subscriber count!! While I’ve never worked at Starbucks myself, my sister has, and she worked there for the whole ‘Oleato’ trend that has since died down-the one with the olive oil & ...laxatives. Apparently, as she told me, a lot of people complained to her because of the bowel issues and bad taste but she obviously couldn’t do anything about it ._. Anyway, wishing you luck from the UA-cam algorithm gods ^^

You are incredibly kind thank you! I'm sorry your sister had to work through that. Its amazing how the employees are always fighting battles on all fronts when working at places like Starbucks. Thank you so much for the comment!

The latest freak out I’ve seen at a Starbucks was an old man yelling at the workers for not having sugar packets and stuff out for free anymore… like just ask for some nicely and they will give it to you, but also I guess we can’t have nice free things anymore because of people like him who will ruin it for everyone and take way too much and just bring it home to stock up their own kitchen

Damn that sounds crazy! It seems like hostility at Starbucks is contagious in that case. Why can't we just have nice things haha. Great story! Thank you for sharing!

Their brand doesn't make any sense. They wanted to be the better option for coffee. Not necessarily premium. For real premium you'll go to a boutique cafe. But they wanted to be better than Dunkin donuts. Better than fast food, convenience stores, gas stations and delis. So they weren't the everyman's coffee. But then they started putting their cafes in Target and super markets and everywhere else. They became the everyman's coffee. And like the video says that brings everyone in but they feel betrayed by the price and quality.

Exactly, it was kind of hard to read what Starbucks intentions have been, the prices of their coffees are contradictory to their locations and scale. I read recently that they are starting to open boutique locations across the world so they might be looking to move in the true premium direction we'll see. Thanks for the comment!
