I don't think it's washing away, but instead sliding deeper over a layer of clay. Large rocks only partially help here, you need to dump the large rocks on this, then give it a bit of time to sink into the clay layer. Then you dump more large rocks again and again with some timing in between them. Otherwise the material you're dumping could be forming a mat that is getting pushed 100+ meters out on the lake bottom sliding across that clay.
Wouldn't you want one round of small stuff? Then boulders until your almost level?? Then topping it off with more small stuff??? Thought you wanted a layer of "fines" first for the boulders to settle into?..? Then you do the main filling with the large fillers.. I've seen that and I have seen where they alternate... Both truck haul sand for a while then one switches to boulders.. and they go over other until it's filled in.
@@americanmotors3631 You are correct depending on where you live and soil types etc. we were in a sand area so boulders/ big rocks, then depending on slope we’d put in 8-12” oversized bluestone then sand/ rock. However depending on conditions this changed. Once in horrible clay we had to crane in boulders with a diver in the water. Also we’ve had to have bulkheads put in. But bottom line is this stuff looks way too small
Wonder which country this happens in? Its clear they dont speak english as they put a hart to every comment without answering. Only to make money from fools like us watching this highly unproffesional shit!
Wow! Again! I know this lake looked deep but OMG! I agree with another viewer, it’s like you are pouring this into a black hole. I have seen this happening in another place using the same material. This is not what they should be using, but large boulders and dirt. Great video to watch as usual and thank you and be safe l. 😮❤❤❤❤
Here is the us when we have to fill large bodies of water we turn them into lake fill centers where contractors can dump concrete, it get mixed in with fine materials and pushed into the lakes
Looks like they were using clay. As dug, it is hard and angular which increases angle of repose. But once it gets wet, the clay gets greasy, reducing angle of repose which causes slumping.
Зачем снимается это видео понятно - отсчёт перед заказчиком сколько мусора утопили, но зачем это видео выкладывать в интернет? Все и так знают, что дураков хватает везде))
This is madness. Who is paying for all this? I once had to raise a 1000 sq yards plot by 4 ft. It cost me around $12,500 /- here in New Delhi, India. I think about 100 truck loads did the work. What’s the count here thus far?
@@michaelbodin7109 you have also seen the stuff down the drain right? In another video, or another channel, the pond is 70mtrs deep. I’m what that. What are the doing?
Rocks and debris do not absorb water. That slippage was predictable. Before you start adding layers of rock the water has to be absorbed by earth/dirt. Then a mixture of clay and rock can be added on top.
Pengurukan yang salah cara. Itu namanya pemborosan besar 😂😂😂😂,semua harus ada pondasi pengurukan, dari pembuangan batu besar dan dengan beberapa tiang pasak beton
I have a theory that lake is ancient and has a very soft bottom, at the scale that ground let lose a possible scenario there is a sinkhole in that area or right underneath where they're working and if that's the case something has to cause the sinkhole ground just doesn't fall away unless it’s eroded by moving water or wind. It would be interesting to have someone come out with a ground penetrating radar and scan the area. With the radar you will see the work you've done and where that rock is disappear into and also what's underneath it. It's just my opinion good luck and let us know what you find.
holy smokes--that lake must be 75 feet+ deep at the bank--and steep! The angle of repose is near 1:1 even after losing hundreds and hundreds of ton. What possible economic land use justifies so much rock on such a tiny bit of land? They could have filed 5 acres or more wetland with that rock. It's beautiful shot limestone.
@@Dailybulldozer Need to run a depth finder on it to make sure you're not filling a 100 meter hole, but also to watch the material slumpage to ensure it's not getting pushed out to the deepest part of the water.
Start with really big rocks, then use slightly smaller rocks, then medium-large-sized rocks, etc., and end up with small rocks on top ... unless these people really like dumping stuff into the lake for fun.
Just guessing here, the guy that bought this, needs to build one warehouse, but could not afford the land...so bought this one on the cheap, he knows that the warehouse does not fit inside the bit of land, so lets just "conquer" some land to the water...
So after it broke away twice they started using larger rocks?..? Why? Dump a few loads of the small stuff then like only 1 layer.. then dump your big heavy stuff down until it's almost built up to level then top off with smaller stuff again😂Or I've seen them repair these by alternating... They start out dumping all sand or whatever then switch to boulders for a while then they alternate between the two.. half the truck bring "fines" and the other half bring "breakage"...

I think that wall was built there to mark the end of land. They aren’t able go beyond with about 5000 truck loads of dumps. Or may be, just may be, this is place they got all their dirt for their other filling videos and it’s now back to square one 😂
Who Thought its a Black Hole ?😂
Those are 40 tons dump trucks and their loads are just disappearing into the water. Something spooky is happening down below
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏❤️
25Ton. 25. It says it right there in the title of the video.
@@MartinD9999 the title of the video is incorrect. I use trucks of all sizes and these are much larger than 20 ton dump trucks.

That dirt is getting poured into a black hole! Must be really deep there. Will be interesting to see if they'll ever get this edge to stay put.

Так анекдот про чукчу это была видимо правда, как он заказывал жд состав с кирпичами каждую неделю, и бросал их в воду 😂
Got excited then, saw the bloke with the sump pump, would have kept me watching for hours, or days, or weeks!
Love the guy dumping trucks. Helmet, vest coat and flip flops. Never heard of boots.
Clearly a luxury in that country.
you need big rocks and stones here . not gravels .
Yeah sure
Weird that small gravel is big as dudes head

You need boulders abd a few thick trees to fill that up because the ocean is that deep
And this is why I have trust issues.

Hey boss! Order another square mile of rock!
Ein wahnsinnig großes Loch... das habe ich noch nie gesehen 😅

It sinks under the weight, the ground gives way
Right!

A rock fill should have gone in first the stabilse and only finer material in lesser grades
Core fill with large rock that small stuff just becomes saturated ..liquefaction.
How deep is that lake???
I guess it about 10m to 20m

look like reclamation works but more like illegal dumping sites...
If they could do away with all the small stuff and the fines from loading, might, again might see a difference.
