If you pause at the frame where it shows that Sasha hit a perfect headshot, you’ll see that Carlo actually had a group photo of Pieck being chummy with the whole Panzer unit taped on the wall next to him. They were actually really close and the most bittersweet thing is that the members of the Panzer unit weren’t even Eldian. They were Marleyan but they still came to care for each other, even yelling out her name during their last moments. It really sucks for Pieck because she lost her whole team at once and they literally all got incinerated alive while still on her back.
17:24 We met Lobov during the Rod Reiss Titan Arc. He's the Garrison overseeing Orvud District. He was also there waiting with Nile, Pixis and Darius for the Scouts to return from Shiganshina.
mikasa only cries a handful of times the whole series. All other times was for eren or armin. It shows how much sasha meant to her.
Also more on sasha, her ravenous appetite suggested she didn't share food before joining the scouts, not even when her dad told her to stop eating the rations in 2-2. Makes her move of sharing the potato with shadis a bigger gesture than it was at first glance, and then again later in 1-5 with the stolen meat.
On 9:29 and also 9:44 you can see that Armin and Jean don´t want to kill innocent people or children. It touches them!
Anyway these two episodes really pushed the story forward and also the intrigue / especially clear at the point where Gabi and Falco realize that Zeke is not dead but was involved in the plan.
23:34 I saw it now 3 times but it still breaks me every time when I see that Sasha died! One of the saddest moments of AoT.

@@yourstrulyjustin5792 Whether he regretted it or not, in that very moment he DID pull the trigger is all I'm saying. He very much tried to kill them, he just failed and then felt bad after.
I have to end this by saying Jean is one of my absolute favourite characters, and I just don't really like the fact he did this lol.

Assuming that you have already watched the next 5 episodes, you should know this "fun" fact:
Sascha's last words were "Niku", which means "meat" in Japanese. But it's also likely that she was trying to say "niccolo", the name of her lover we meet in the following episodes. Imo, considering this makes the scene much more tragic

we saw lobov in s1ep11, He only appears in s1ep11 and s4ep8. He was the soldier telling Daz (the old looking guy) to stop being a coward when commanded with protecting Eren from the titans in Trost.
It’s crazy how so far there’s certain themes like you’ve talked about, and the last 22 episodes introduce an overwhelming amount of ideals and themes and philosophies. It’s just insane

Also, you should watch the Attack on Titan (additional) OVA episodes - they show Levi's past, in-episodes, and just generally extra-story. So when Levi said "That face... it reminds me of the rotten shits who lived underground." at 16:55, it actually has further meaning.

There were military higher-ups yes but it was an expressly public/civilian event in a residential area with children present and made casualties... the officers were just esteemed guests. It'd be like an attack at a political rally or politically-charged sports event. I don't think Willy was in the position to make an *official* declaration of war and only Magath knew his plan.

Okay listen, in this operation our people literally attacked the country that been killing them for ages. After they declared war on them calling to kill them all. In the whole fight only 7 people died including Sahsa. But in the other hand, they killed marley officers, destroyed their fleet, took the war hammer titan power and Zeke. Why tf are they crying and blaming my boi Eren not like he attacked them without any reason lmao. When Erwin ride with 200 people tobtheir death without any improvement everyone call him the goat but when 6 people die in the first eldian attack and win people cry and blame Eren????? Make it make sense
