    I’m law enforcement, I won’t be violating anybody’s constitutional rights. And woe to the supervisor that orders us to do so. We swore an oath to the constitution, not to the management.

    I lived on Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit and over the next 30 days I received a first class education on what happens when local Police lose control of an American City to looters,gangs,and violent criminals and the US Military must be brought in to help local law enforcement regain control. I saw things occur during that 30 day period after the storm that I never believed would ever take place in an American City. For those who don't believe martial law or a breakdown of society can happen, you better wake up and smell the coffee! Get prepared now because when that time arrives it WILL BE TO LATE!!!

    This is all fine and dandy for strong men like yourselves. Single senior citizens are doomed I guess. I prepare as best I can with food, water, pet food etc. ...but I’m not going anywhere. I still watch people like you for good prep information... but I wish someone would do helpful videos for people who simply cannot just go run to the woods by themselves. Thanks!

    • @ExtremePrepper

      Justine DeVoe Dont let what you can't do keep you from doing what you can do. I like listening to Bear Independent as there is lots of good information. He does practice a high testosterone form of prepping, which is OK. There are also lower testosterone forms of prepping, and you talk about some of those in your comment. Not everyone can run to the woods, but if you think about what he is saying, you really want to get out of the big cities. Suburbs would be better than inner city, small cities better than big cities, and small towns better than cities, and farms or ranches best of all. Do you have any relatives or close friends who live in small town or on farms. In the case of trouble could you go there? I think what Bear is saying is anything would be better than getting stuck in the city . . . think about the huricane in New Orleans a few years ago.

      There are people in their 70s in our group; operative term; *in our group*. I cannot be anything other than what I am, but I can surely help *anyone* be better than they are now, if you can apply the principles I preach and teach to your daily life. That being said, I am nto for everyone, and everyone is not for me.

I told as I was leaving, stay true or deal with me on the wrong side, I am staying true to my oath. Well one thing is for sure, Democrats are worst losers ever, still not over the 2016 election. Plus on July 26, 2016 Brennan briefed Obama on HRC plan to use Russian disinformation to cover up her email scandal. So what does Obama do, on the same day issues PDD-41 concerning Russian hacking. So that means he was in on it from day one. That means Team Mueller was a scam and now looks like Trump was impeached for what Biden did. There’s a UA-cam of him, unless they took it down to cover for Biden. Plus it looks bad for Biden, he’s like a non boss, he gets a cut from everyone in his family. Strange he has four expensive houses, he was a Senator and VP, his wife was a school teacher. Remember there’s no such thing as a conspiracy in DC, it mostly turns into fact soon as it’s discovered.
      Brace for it, one thing is for sure, Democrats are sore losers, now imagine if bad man orange wins again. I’m ready, I seen combat, I miss the chaos, but I prefer. As in 13 Hours. “Welcome to my world”. I taken life in war, will do it again, commies aren’t welcome in the USA

    Commenting before watching. Don't judge me. Nation wide martial law is an absolute logistical impossibility. The best they could do, after activating ALL reservists, AND guardsmen, THEN re-deploying every active duty soldier to the homeland is two or three states depending on geographical size and population density.

    • @deangullberry5148
      @deangullberry5148 5 років тому +5

      No. Nation wide Martial law is impossible. Regardless of how compliant citizens are, there are certain doctrinal procedures the government must adhere to to effectively enforce the policy. The resources do not, and never will, exist.

    • @deangullberry5148
      @deangullberry5148 5 років тому +6

      Nic, I do that regularly. I have sheriff deputies that look forward to my training days, because when they get called they think my toys are cooler than theirs. Small departments still issue commercial semi-auto carbines, to save money. Because of me three counties are pushing to get funding for Binary Triggers. I was part of the Martial Law force after Hurricane Andrew, in Florida. We didn't confiscate weapons. That wasn't the FEDs in NOLA, it was local government. I know from EXPERIENCE that a nation wide lockdown is 100% absolutely impossible. There is no "agree to disagree", you're wrong.

    • @jsbadger
      @jsbadger 5 років тому +5

      Ok. I normally steer clear of this vein but... logistically it may "seem" impossible. It's not. If you break it down and time it right, you can hedge in most of a sheeple-minded populace. No, you wont get everyone in line. That's what swift and decisive, publicly viewed capital "punishment" is for. Grid down-check, coms blocked-check, major/secondary/tertiary arteries in/out of zones-check. Wait it out...oh say, a month...and most of the units have taken care of themselves for you(starvation, in-fighting, disease...pick your poison) -check. Food and med shortages alone will get people where you want them. They can then pick who they want for conscripts...if they want any. Impossible? Nope. Dark scenario, yep. Avoidable, yep. Do as the Bear, and others, suggest and COOHMP. Just my humble opinion thrown out there. Shalom.

    • @deangullberry5148
      @deangullberry5148 5 років тому +3

      Nic Bolton you just demonstrated your illiteracy. I specifically stated that I was in Florida, and we DID NOT confiscate. That NOLA (I never said I was there) was done by locals. I'm also going to point out that the Sheriff is the only Constitutionally recognized law enforcement, they also overwhelmingly support the people, and the Constitution. Real educated Patriots call people like you an idiot. By the way, the second half of that comment was so poorly constructed it's completely incomprehensible. Maybe you should go get your GED...

    • @deangullberry5148
      @deangullberry5148 5 років тому +4

      I'll also point out your hypocrisy. Bear has made no secret that he was formerly employed by the government, and you follow him closely. But anyone else that once drew a government paycheck gets scorned? What a joke... Patriots are anti-tyranny, not anti-government.

      @Sigkim I remember on 9/11 as things were going down that day it was unclear how big it was or how many more shoes would drop that day. I remember I was at the airport when it happened, and stayed there until the second tower fell, and it was clear all air traffic would be shut down in US for some time. Given the uncertainty, I left the airport and went to my local bank, and asked to make a $5K cash withdrawal. They were either unable or unwilling to allow me to make the withdrawal, and you could see they were in a high state of anxiety. They started talking about forms, and arrangements, and appointments for next week. That amount would seem to be a relatively small amount given the overall operation of that branch, but when I felt like I needed that much money, I could not get it.

    For your local comms:
    I have NEVER seen anyone on youtube suggest you have a list of ALL of the radio Frequencies used by your local law enforcement agencies, INCLUDING their tactical frequencies! A $50.00 Bao Feng Ham walkie talkie will monitor those frequencies as well as work on the Ham Repeaters. The intel these little radios can gather is PRICELESS! And yes, they will ALSO listen in on FEMA & DHS traffic.

    • @Bootyhunter1971
      @Bootyhunter1971 4 роки тому

      Depends where you live. My local pd and so all comms are ENCRYPTED. Cant even monitor them on the most advanced newest digital trunking scanners. So your Baofeng plan may work, may not, but good news is you can find out today and stay on top of it, as these agencies change radio systems sometimes, so you need to stay on top of it

    • @jerryrobbins5013
      @jerryrobbins5013 3 роки тому +1

      FYI, the "TAC" frequencies are not "tactical"... they're "talk around channels"... they dont hit the repeater and step on everyone else in the whole county. for example, jail personnel can talk on radios without aggravating the dispatcher, or two officers on scene can do to the same. they're generally. i scan the "tac" channels as well, but they're only good for when the first responders are close.

    control the country side by controlling the gas stations , same could be said about forcing the loss of control on an area , hit the gas cans driving on the roads eventually either insurance carriers will not bond fuel companies or whatever enemy won't care too keep security along routes the gas cans travel and you'll also have too consider what forces will be arrayed aginst you , army is alot different than national guard , army can come from anywhere while national guard will be mostly from the regional area and less likely to want too face possible retribution , so theres alot too a martial law aspect that doesn't lend itself too a large area, especially when you take into account army garrison rates , it took the germans 1 man for every 100 while occuping french cities to keep them under control and 1 man per 1000 to police an area , we can look at chicago rite now , 5 000 000 ppl and around 6000 police , newyork 10 000 000 ppl 10 000 police so the ratios are close too the same and thats peace time with the rule of law in a martial law situation you'd need 100 000 police to garrison newyork , good luck on that , they will more likely too man intersections , intercept patrols , crt's , that line of control, local police will more than likely not show up for work , lots of retribution for what the locals could consider treason etc etc alot of personal vendetta stuff in the begining

    I think when UA-camrs make these videos like you're making I think you need to explain to people that the police are not there to help you they're there to see if they can incarcerate you. And during martial law they will be the very people Lycoming train take your weapons away along with probably different military branches that's how they did Katrina. Because there's a lot of people out there that say they're second Amendment supporters well there's over 800,000 law enforcement officers and not one of them during hurricane Katrina stood up to stop police from taken good people's weapons away not one of them and a lot of the problem is a lot of the people that say they're three percenters and stuff are police yet they're taking people's rights away everyday.

    The reason they found the Boston Bomber as quickly as they did is because a local resident was checking his property, saw something was amiss with his Boat Cover, lifted he cover, FOUND the dude and called it in. Had it not been for that, the feds probably WOULD have found him eventually, but it would have taken a lot longer.
    That being said, your point about resources being concentrated in high population densities is accurate. However, I can also see a few dedicated units going after rural assets during a Martial Law event. If things have gotten that bad, I would not rule ANYTHING to!

    Military forces would go where they need to, not some geographical imperative.
    If there was a need to raid a rural area, for example, to route out an armed force based there, they would. We patrolled all kinds of rural areas in war zones. By no means did we remain in highly populated urban areas. In fact, rural areas quite often had more activity and attracted concentrated attention.

    Day of Mourning. February 23rd. A day believers in Christ can come together in prayer and fasting. Our time to tell Yahweh how sorry we are for the evil we feel is so overwhelming we dont know how to stop. We need Divine Intervention. If you are disguised by the over 7.6 million children murdered through Planned Murderhood then lets lift them up to Yah our Father and Creator in Heaven. If you have been praying how you can help change this evil in our country, this is your answer. America needs to repent.As His Church lets show God we love these innocent children just as much as Yeshua/ Jesus loves us and died for our sins to be our Lamb, our Passover and our Savior.( Please spread the word)

    Rather than spend cash on a few hundred rounds of 12 gauge slugs @ 1$ per round, I got the reloading press, a Lee 7/8 oz slug mold, scavenged some pure lead, ordered used hulls, new wads, a few pounds of the proper powder and a thousand primers, and for the same price I have 500 slugs and enough to make 500 more!
    Please make sure it does not hit for a couple more years! LOL

    Before I got out of the city every time I went to visit my brother and his family after they moved back home was a mock bug out. If I had to help do some work and I brought my van I would time myself unloading unnecessary materials and loading my "go crap". On the way there I would drive every route away from major cities, and randomly change the route if a bridge was out, road blocked, martians were recital probing people in that area, whatever reason You don't want to be in that area. If you have a vacation home or cabin you plan to use there is no reason when you go visit that area to not treat it as if it is the "event" is happening. If you carry a gun when you unholster at night its an opportunity to get another repetition for that draw stroke. Every time you have the opportunity to dry run utilize it.

    I'm a retired SERE Instructor, and I see a flaw in your logic. This is the flaw I see. Most major cities have few major ways in and out. NYC, close the bridges and tunnels and the entire city is contained. 3 bridges and 2 tunnels and there will be no traffic going south out of the city. This leaves the northern route which bottle necks. The SF Bay Area will be a disaster if people try to leave enmass. The major routes out of the Bay Area go thru passes, again, easily controlled . LA, Every route out goes thru passes. Could you get out on foot or by boat? possibly. But then the question would be, what is the point of controlling the cities? Without supply, or potable water, there will most likely be a 90% die off in the cities within 60 days.

    very good points, and to add not all service members will be used. Statistics vary for a support to front line troop, also the ships, aircraft have to be serviced so the actual amount of troops available to enforce martial law and support law enforcement will dwindle further to the army and Marine Corps. The government may look to control ports airfields and other infrastructure in order to maintain control. So Bear is right in that be somewhere else. The gov will only be able to have full control of a portion of the country. My initial thoughts go to eastern and west coast ports, major cities, military bases airports, etc. Good post and good food for thought. I really enjoyed the info on FEMA.

    In an EMP event, where all power is lost at our country, Marshall Law may be enacted, but our military is going to have precious little resource to even begin carrying that out. The majority of all military equipment will be adversely affected by the EMP strikes. There is simply no way our military is equipped to enact martial law and every state, in every city, every County, it's just not possible. An EMP event would likely be the far worst thing that could possibly happen to our country. Many experts agree that 90% of our population will be dead within one year of an EMP event. Lack of water, food, medicine... Not to mention no sewage service, no police and fire service, no EMS, no hospitals.

    Martial law was not declared in Louisiana in relation to Hurricane Katrina. On August 31, 2005, the Louisiana Attorney General's office clarified "reports in some media that 'martial law' [had] been declared in parts of storm-ravaged southeast Louisiana, saying no such term exists in Louisiana law,"
    But even though no martial law exists, Gov. Kathleen Blanco's declaration of a state of emergency [on August 26, 2005] gives authorities widespread latitude to suspend civil liberties as they try to restore order and bring victims to safety. Under the Louisiana Homeland Security and Emergency Assistance and Disaster Act of 1993, the governor and, in some cases, chief parish officials, have the right to commandeer or utilize any private property if necessary to cope with the emergency.
    "Authorities may also suspend any statute related to the conduct of official business, or any rule issued by a state agency, if complying would 'prevent, hinder or delay necessary action' to mitigate the emergency.
    "It also gives authority the right to compel evacuations, suspend alcohol and weapons sales and make provisions for the availability and use of temporary emergency housing.
    "The law gives mayors similar authority, except they do not have the right to commandeer private property or make provisions for emergency housing, according to a background brief prepared by the state Attorney General's office

    I like your video's and agree with MOST of what you say, I also was a 31B (MP) and deployed to Saint Bernard Parrish two days after Katrina hit and we did not confiscate any personally owned weapons. Also who is going to enforce weapons confiscation? Answer: The military and Federal/Local Law Enforcement. I am currently an Active Duty MP and will follow the orders of my superiors UNLESS: IMMORAL OR ILLEGAL. I will NOT follow the orders of my superiors if they are any of the prior. I WILL NOT BE PRIVY OR ORDER MY SOLDIERS TO MASS CONFISCATE WEAPONS FROM CIVILIANS OR ORDER THE REVOCATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. BTW I AM A NCO (SGT).
