this game actually does need proximity voice chat. games where your friends can die and you can hear them screaming in the distance are always funny
The lethal company/black mesa vibe would do perfect with proxi chat.
The other game they made had proximity voice chat and everyone called it scuffed

At first I was extremely confused on why this game was made but at about the halfway mark I realized it’s no different from my desire to hunker down and live sustainably in an Ikea, except it’s a top secret research facility instead.
To be honest, I always had a little bug on my ear for years saying "What if Half Life was actually a survival sim?"
I guess this game answers that question

ss13, a game everyone knows but noone plays. even pyrocynical had footage of it in his video. still, the moderators too insufferable to enjoy ss13, their worse then reddit mods

@@IAm18PercentCarbon I play ss13 on cycles- I no life it for a few weeks then take a few month-long break. Last time I was a traitor clown who could see ghosts, and made everyone think I was insane. then the voices told me to firebomb the hospital.

I'm glad charburger has finally graduated MIT and became a scientist. It feels like just yesterday he was talking to his friend about cat girls and chasing aliens. He has come a long way!
It's annoying because I enjoy a more in depth game like this to lethal company, but it's clear to see why that game is doing so well on twitch right now. Prox chat is such an impactful feature.
Its also has a lot more funny moments on a short amount of time ratio, anyone can have a funny moment at any time.
These games take a group of funny people playing off each other etc etc. it only makes sense lethal company is doing so well.

The full game of this (Abiotic Factor) comes out in only like a week so I really really hope that charbo and his mates get together to play again because this video convinced me to help playtest this game and I personally can't wait for the full release
