“Marine Delight: Learn to Make Fish Brine with Polenta Fisherman's Style”

  • Fish Saramura (Brine) - is a traditional Romanian dish, generally based on different types of fish and roasted or fried vegetables, with a spicier touch, which is served accompanied with Romanian polenta (mamaliga). It is a very healthy and very refreshing dish, especially it is consumed more in the summer season due to the fact that it is consumed cold, when it is at its best and the flavor of the roasted vegetables and fish is best noticeable. Above all, it is a dish that fishermen love and people who love fish.
    INGREDIENTS:
    -FIRST STEP. THE ROAST:
    2 BASS -800 GR.
    3 TOMATOES, 1 RED PEPPER, 1 GREEN PEPPER, 1 YELLOW PEPPER.
    -SECOND STEP:
    FOR THE BRINE, A DEEP Casserole, WHERE WE ADD 1 LITER OF WATER.
    2 tablespoons of salt, chopped roasted vegetables, 2 tablespoons of crushed garlic,
    2 TABLESPOONS OF OIL,
    1 TSP THYME, 1/2 TSP PEPPER, 1 TSP PARSLEY
    1 TEASPOON OF HOT CHILI AND THE ROASTED FISH.
    PART THREE: MAKING THE POLENTA
    -1 SMALL POT WITH 800 ML OF WATER, WE WILL PUT A Pinch OF SALT AND A TABLESPOON OF OIL.
    WE ADD THE CORN FLOUR, LITTLE BY LITTLE AND STIR CONSTANTLY SO THAT LUMBS DO NOT FORM.
    THEN ON LOW FIRE WE COOK TO TASTE DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH THICK WE LIKE IT.
