Like, i would doubt every single thing he'll do because there's that tiny knowledge in my mind that he cheated once, he can always do it again. Realistically speaking, the trust is just broken.
On the other hand, people make mistakes, especially in dealing with things as complicated as emotions. Putting that into perspective, giving him a chance seemed logical. (In some points)

The capacity to forgive someone and the capacity to give them a second chance is different. As for me, I am not someone who will give a second chance to a betrayal. Sure, I will give a second chance to everything except one thing, a betrayal of love. I will always forgive them though it takes time. But, to give them a sec chance? I can't, the reason? I can't even look at him the same way, I can't trust him the way I used to, and I can't give him the same love :)) what's the point of giving him a second chance if I can't even give him those things. Even if people say it takes time, and time will heal everything. I always feel that a broken vase couldn't be fixed no matter how expensive the glue is, or no matter how patient we do it. There will always those cracks invisible to our eyes :")
