    Braver man than me in glueing all those dominoes and then fitting the 5 shelves. That kind of operation has backfired on me and so, now I would only glue one shelf at a time.
    Glad to see someone using chestnut. That and sycamore seem to be under rated and under used. It’s harder to find nice long and wide slabs (I use Englishwoodlandstimber in West Sussex) but they are lovely timbers to work with.

    It might help (especially for North Americans but also many over here) if you called the carcass wood "yellow poplar" or just "poplar", (even though the tree is in the tulipifera and not in the populus genus).
