I wanted to make a C2C blanket forever. I would watch videos and get so confused. I kept going back and trying over and over and my brain felt scrambled until it finally clicked and I loved it. I just found it to be so easy after I got the hang of it. I did a very large one last winter in the color Time Square. It turned out so pretty and so soft and warm.

@@CrochetwithClare Sorry, I don’t really have one to recommend. I usually use Stitchfiddle to design my own or use a simple grid pattern I find on Pinterest. I adore C2C. I have used ombre yarns (my favorite), striping yarns, have done solids and made stripes, etc. I have not done the ones that have graphics in them. It took me forever to get going on C2C. I had a psychological block against it. I had tried it with a tutorial that was really horrible and it traumatized me! Then I watched Jayda in Stitches and The Secret Yarnery. They both are amazing in teaching and I got it!!! Now C2C is my favorite go-to stitch! I love it because you can make a rectangle or a square, but whatever it is, it just closes up beautifully and it's magic! 🩶

Hi 👋 I’ve made a few C2C blankets. I’ve just finished a C2C blanket for my King bed in Mandala Ombré It took me about 3months with a 3 week break for a sore wrist. I did 2ch instead of 3 and 5 instead of 6. To make it more closed and I love it. Got it on my bed just in time for the freezing weather here in Bendigo Victoria. I hope you enjoy making one 🤞

I really enjoy C2C blankets & crochet a lot of them for cat blankets for our local pet shelter with scrap yarn. Just today I finished off my Felix Blanket which is a very clever twist on the C2C blanket & looks stunning in scrap yarn! You'll find a series of tutorials on YT of the Felix Blanket. Christa at The Secret Yarnery did some great beginner tutorials on C2C as well as a gorgeous gingham blanket using C2C. Yes, I'd definitely change to a bigger hook to give it more drape & softness. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

I've never done c2c and it doesn't really appeal to me.
A few years ago there was a baby girl on her way in the family. I'd never made a baby outfit but I thought I'd give it a go. I found a pattern and videos for a bonnet, dress, bloomers and booties. My goodness, I just about gave up on the dress because I was having such a hard time with the yoke. I was determined and very grateful for the videos. I think the name of the UA-cam channel is crochet for baby.
Anyways, with yours, it looks like you've cut the yarn already. I wouldn't bother unraveling/frogging it, I'd just start over. You've got this, you go girl, practice makes perfect 👌.
