I have a positive paxino or whatever sign and suspect torn coracoclavicular ligament. Been going on for months and recently exacerbated. Any treatment? Likely I’d be on a surgery waiting list for years.
Well, my right arm doesn't go over 100 degrees at all on the side(and I can't raise it above my head, it looks like my whole body is trying to lift my right arm) and when I try to push my arm across my chest, it hurts and I can't even do it totally. And the most painful test is behind the back. So, obviously it is AC joint dysfunction. Does anyone know will it require surgery or it can heal on its own? Should I do any exercises and what kind? Or maybe it is better to keep the arm in sling to let AC joint heal? When my thumb is down and arm extended and I press it with my left arm, there is maybe some discomfort, but not sharp pain. The worst pain even worse then the behind the back is when let say I drop the keys and I try to catch it with my right (or even left arm, but right hurts of course). So any sudden movements are bad.
Now when we detect our problem the question is how to treat in my case is pain for 3 years which i learn to live with. Im training CrossFit so some excercise like toast to bar, handstand push-ups cannot make without pain
Hey so when I was in third grade I fell on my shoulder and went to the hospital and they just gave me this thing to put my arm in later on I started playing sports starting at 6th grade to 9th I’m in 10th and I’m just now noticing how my shoulder blade is like rising and it’s not aligned to my shoulder btw it’s not really painful unless I carry a bag or carry anything heavy do you think that I will need surgury
That's the reality of physio practice. You should have a good idea about your hypothesis on the basis of patient history taking already. After physical testing, there is often a considerable amount of uncertainty left
