Your presentation is so simple to follow & straight-to-the-point just like the assembly manual that comes from IKEA.
This is the best tutorial i've seen on youtube. Thanks for that!
Thank you mr on the internet
I’ve just been looking to do this today. I might add extra wheels in the middle as I use my Kallax for vinyl storage. Great vid.
Great video! Exactly what I was looking for. I wish more tutorials would be like yours.

Thanks! That was simply done.

Why did you only don one video. You are a natural and should do more. Great enthusiasm and good demonstration.
I just added the wheels following your instructions and it went perfectly! This was great!
Gigi Hinson what Size were the wheel frames
where did you get you wheels ikea doesn't have them any more
3 x casters look nice too and it is stronger - in case you put want to put vinyl or books on it.
Thank you! Thought I needed drill but this showed me I didn't!
Thanks for this!

I love your voice! Great tutorial :)
Now that’s my kinda carpentry video. Thx bud! :3
Hi there. First, thanks so much for this video. I followed it and it was a huge help with the casters and rail I had sitting in a closet. So much so, that I wanted to put the wheels on my two other Kallax and old Expedit shelves. Guess what ... those steel rails are discontinued 😭. Thought I’d take a chance and ask if you know where else to get them (or even if you’d like to sell yours ... if you’re done with them. But why would you be ... they’re so great.). Either way, thanks very much for this helpful tutorial. Really appreciated it.
File I would not want the bracket to stick out last the front of the shelf, I appreciate you showing how ready it is.
I put 3 sets of casters on mine to support the weight. Thanks for the video
I had to put 3 sets also. I had two sets at first. Then the middle started to sag. So I brought more. I'm actually moving I have 2 of the old expedit units. But don't want to move them. I want to purchase two kallax down the road, but was wondering with the slimmed down outer frame will these casters still fit. They are the best part of the unit. In my opinion. Hope some one reads this.
Great video! Where did you get the bars that hold the wheel? We are looking for that for a storage solution we are working on. Thanks!
Thanks you
Where do you get the wheels and bars?
When I put the wheel into its place, I can't get it to click. How much force is needed?
Dam can’t find those castors with the bar support anymore !
Where did you buy the weels ?
What if you want to put two units side by side?
Hahaha "flexing a little bit now let's get to it"
Where do you get the wheels and the bar they attach to?

I think they’re being discontinued (I’m not 100% on that). Reason I think that: they’re not on the IKEA website anymore and they were marked down to $15 in red marker (from $20) when I snagged mine last weekend. Good luck!
@@YallAintRight "Unfortunately, our KALLAX rail with 2 casters (article number: 002.886. 57) was discontinued in April 2019. As much as we'd like to help you obtain this product, there's no way to purchase discontinued products once supply runs out.Jun 18, 2019
I can’t find the wheels. Are they still selling them?
Joseph Rose No they are not I had to find them off a offbrand website
They must not make these anymore because I can’t find them online…
I do tug and pull tests every night before I go to bed. Boom boom....boom boom.
"Kallax Instructions are trash"...lol!
