Nah the when mgmt wrote this the two guys were writing pop music as a joke and it ended being a big success but they still wanted to do more experimental stuff so there next album was an big 180 and lost a lot of fan base for it so I actually like this band a lot and respect them a lot for and this songs great idk what ur talking about

For a song written as a pisstake it is fucking magnificent
Genuinely amazing reinterpretation of such a classic. BCNR really can take a pop song to a completely new place.
