Unfortunately locals and out of staters don’t understand how unforgiving the western Australian outback is during summer and also in winter it turns to mush with little rain and vehicle travel is not possible in a lot of remote areas

Things are now looking a bit better, so I decided to get reunited with your channel. I thought I'd watch your last post first, so I was surprised to hear you were ill. Happy Easter Mr Gold so good to hear you are on the mend I sent you a msg the other day lol. My Condolences to those 2 men who perished and to their family our outback can be very unforgiving and in that heat water is more precious than gold. Fantastic view from the drone you can see where water has flowed in some parts and that line of trees is in a creek or river bed good place to dig for water. Congrats to the winners, Stay safe now.

Dave here . So good to hear about your successful treatment. Our Sister in law had the same cancer 12 months ago and is now clear......immunotherapy an amazing change in treatment. Both my wife and I hope to see you out along the south access road this winter and talk over a couple of beers. We had a laugh about the white Kaolin patches. One of your spots we stopped at as Kath wanted to as it was white chalky ground. I said nah........ But we stopped. 11 nuggets later including 2 we parked our car on top of. biggest was 30cmm down and 4.72 gram.

Congrats on the great news well done (the mind is the strongest doctor if you believe it for long enough it becomes your reality ) yes it gets extremely hot here in the summer as well lasts about 3-4 months anywhere from 43.3 to 49.4 last year we had 55 straight days of 43.3 or higher (to hot for me lol) nice drone footage they work well for prospecting saves tons of time stumbling around on the ground.
