This video was so much more than I expected. I’ve been afraid of using my paints and canvas because I don’t want to mess up, and I always compare myself to the tutorial. Thank you ❤️
Thank you so much for this lovely lovely comment. I’m so happy you found comfort in my video, that is my number one goal with my channel. To relate and engage with others and make art fun again! I hope this has helped you in some small way. Thanks for watching ❤️☺️
Thank you! It’s so cool that you have Koi, I would love to have one day, I find them so beautiful. And Yay! Have fun painting, feel free to tag me so I can see what you create😊🌼
Thank you so much for this video. I just got back into painting (painting some koi too) and am learning how to produce music. What you said about comparing yourself to others and judging yourself so harshly is something I seriously struggle with, it’s just nice to hear someone encouraging other artists out there to let go and experiment with their work, just create and not feel so self conscious about the process. ❤️
I am so happy to hear that my video has helped in some small way! I’m glad that you are painting again, that’s wonderful! I hope you continue to create and experiment with confidence 🌼💛
Ngl I absolutely loved it! It's amazing! Honestly thanks for the tip for not comparing ones painting to another cause I know it will make u think you did bad and your not really good ( oh man I did this for so long, was still doing actually, it's really hard to actually like your own painting than others. And about the recreation if I get time I'm surely gonna TRY! Thanks man you gave out great tips, had a fun time cya later.❤️
Thank you so much! I really am blown away by the feedback and I’m so happy you enjoyed this video! I’m happy that this video has helped you on some small way, & please feel free to tag me so I can see your recreation!🥰✨
@@Talltalesart omg I had finished up my art but I really didn't feel like then on posting it and after 8 months I get ur vid again in recommendations and you still seem amazing to me plz keep it up also I will surely tag you if I do post it. 🫂❤️✨
Famous place for Koi farmers in Japan is Niigata. My friend is Koi farmer in Kushu and export to Europe. Ohgata- Koi is well known in Europe, especially in Germany. From Tokyo Japan.
I know you say you get your brushes from Michael's but what brand do you use? I'm not really a painter or artist at all but my attitude has been a little hard to get past since covid and feeling isolated. I dont need an amazing brand but would like one that is ok and not completely crap that will last a little while. This is great btw thank you for sharing!
Tierra Johnson Hi🌸 I’m glad you enjoyed the video. During times like this it can be hard to stay positive but I’m happy that you’re trying your hand at painting and I hope my videos help you along the way! The brand that I use is artist loft, they come in variety packs at michaels. I also use the individually sold acrylic brushes at michaels. Hope this helps 😊🌼
Hi, the colors I used are mentioned in the subtitles! There’s quite a few but mostly blues and different tones of orange. As for the paint, as far as I know, they don’t come individually you have to purchase a set. Hope this helps!
Hi! The colors that I used for the water were Blue, Light blue, red, white and very little black. Those are the basic colors that I used and from there I created different tones using lighter and darker shades of each color. I hope this helps!
It would be really helpful if you showed u painting at better angles to make it easier to follow along as you do it since I can’t really see what you are doing most of the time
