I hear you. I embrace everything lee taeyong does but i agree that TAP is not Shalala for me either. its a fun bop but not the monster song or dazzling MV that splashed down SO hard for his debut. Shalala is a near impossible first act for even taeyong to follow). i suspect the new team at SM chose to play it "short & shallow" to the cheap seats (fans who dont want to be too challenged or have to think too hard) TAP is a safe choice for his 2nd title track simply because the REST of his new songs dive SO deep. I also share your too soon feeling. At the very least due to ill planning taeyong is having to fit his CB in at the last minute before his millitary enlistment. Even so its not for want of material. Taeyong has self produced with his friends dozens of high quality demos in progress or waiting to go at spotify. Performance wise hes one of the best prespared idols in kpop. So its not his fault that his CB was not only rushe through but also crammed into a way too packed release schedule by #SM3zero (his under new $$$ management in chaos & overreaching post LSM produced company) who has greedily wedged the CB of its NCTleader SuperM superstar in between untried new projects with other idols & new groups #3zero is determined to use taeyongs well earned clout & starpower to promote OTHER ventures. And his fans are rightly pissed for him over the #3zero fiasco. But it is what it is and we are grateful for This new sound in his self composed songs. I hope you will listen to the worthy whole cd...its a true departure from what Taeyong has been allowed to do AS the Main Rapper in his stellar home group nct127 where he has been left out of its EPIC vocal line. Taeyong has really never been ALLOWED to SING either in NCT or SuperM. Truth is he always could and wanted to. Its great to hear how he grabbed this CB to prove it.
KWAMEEEEEE YOURE BACKKKKK!!!!!!
Never left😤
