- Even after all his efforts and all the attention Taeyong gives to the NCT members, even though he always puts them first, I somehow still see people complain about him and act like someone else can do a better job. No. This video is proof of just how thoughtful, kind, wise and generous Taeyong is. NCT could not have wished for a better leader. Not only does he lead his own unit NCT 127 exceptionally well, but he also takes care of members of NCT Dream and WayV and he off course steps up his leader game when the whole of NCT is brought together. I wish I could have included even more clips, but my laptop was running out of storage. And clips like the ones shown in the video are only a fraction of all the hard work Taeyong does behind the scenes. So please show him more support!

I think some people forget how NCT is a completely NEW concept with many uncertainties right from the start. Just thinking how TaeYong was only 20 when he debuted (Jisung 's current age!) having to carry heavy responsibility from such a young age!! Obviously no ones perfect from the start without experience but he showed how strong he was mentally in holding up his team and enduring all the pressures from every side. 📣 TaeYong, you are doing just FINE and there are millions whom support you!!!
Hope the other members will continue to help out in sharing the responsibilities of the NCT group so it will be an everlasting worldwide known success!!

It honestly makes me sad whenever I think of him when he said he thought of giving up being the leader of NCT. It must have been so difficult and all the pressure and burden he felt not just from the fans, their managers, their teachers, and all the haters, it must have took a lot of courage to be able to continue on. Taeyong, we thank you for not giving up and always staying strong not just for the other NCT members, but also for NCTzens. I hope you know how much we love and cherish you. Your place in NCT will never be replaced and, honestly, the few times you were not with the members in a performance, we can definitely feel the huge gap left behind. And regards to him giving up as a leader, I’m not sure if it was an insta live or if it was amongst the countless videos they upload here on YT. I cannot remember exactly, but it was fairly recent.

the amount of burden and pressure thats been put onto his shoulders since day 1 🫂 despite all of the hate and bad treatment he gets from previous managers and online haters, he never once stops being a kind, caring and thoughtful leader/person to his members, fans, staffs, fellow artists, you name it

I don't know what I want to say, I just cried during this video. I mean, NCT should feel overwhelmed and proud to have a very capable leader like Taeyong. He is a very sensitive, humble person, has patience but he knows when he should be more assertive, he always thinks about the group and its members, besides that he is very creative, he can make good songs, he is able to give a good performance, makes NCT famous for its performance strength, and very stand out.

I'm so proud of TY, having that kind of responsibility is difficult, being a leader to a sub-unit and to the whole NCT who keeps on having new members is very difficult but he is doing his best and it's obvious. The respect and adoration every member has for him is the proof.

since i was a captain at my school, i know the pressure of a leader, and taeyong literally ticks all the boxes and if i get the chance i always want to tell him that he is doing so good and killing it everywhere!
i’ve seen other studio recording videos of different groups. i’ve noticed a lot of the time, idols leave the studio looking exhausted and disappointed. however it’s the complete opposite when taeyong guides his members during their recordings.
I know I'm being out of topic but I just want to say there are only few groups that went out of the studio looking satisfied. One is NCT and the other is Treasure. Taeyong and the two leaders of Treasure, Hyunsuk and Jihoon are great leaders of their groups :) I respect them the most out of all groups.

And no matter how much people will discredit Taeyong's leader position in the whole NCT - - his members, the staff and the people he works and will be working with will be the ones to testify for him. He is and will always be reliable. Leadership isn't just what you see on cam but everything else that he does for his team, beyond the clips of him that people 'choose' to see. In the sport meet episode, he was hugging Shotaro like a concerned mum and it was so endearing. In the recent fall retreat episode, he gave Xiaojun a hug after the game segment and complimented him for his efforts in the dance segment and even gave Xiaojun his gift cert as the emcees have no more left. Such an encouraging leader❤
Being a leader of such a big group must be an insane amount of pressure. I can't imagine the stress he must face at times. But he does such a great job. You can tell how much he takes his job seriously. He's so professional and kind. I think it's a blessing to have him in the industry.

I got emotional watching this. 😭😭😭 how could anyone hate him I understand if some people don't like him but why not just ignore things you don't like but instead antis make it their job to hate. It is understandable if other group fans hate him but you a fan of his own member why do you choose to hate one their leader that is one of your bias biggest support. Solo stans always yelling for him to stop being a leader and wanting their bias to be the leader themselves. Why do they want their bias to be subjected in that tormenting leader position where they need to prioritize their group first than themselves. They also want their bias to go solo but also want to burden them with that leadership thing. Taeyong has sacrificed a lot and is just now beginning to truly show what he can do on his own evident with the soundcloud, youtube channel, tiktok, etc. I think he felt that nct is more stabilized now cause they almost 7 years in their careers. But you can still see him prioritize the group more than his own. That is why tyongf's are pushing for his solo cause some solo fans are ungrateful of taeyong. They just want that position cause nct is more stable now they won't know the sacrifices of taeyong since the beginning. So called nctzens the biggest offender of disrespecting taeyong.

I also remember when Baekhyun wasn't there for a SuperM event, Taemin looked for Taeyong for assistance on how to close the event! What a lovely compilation! Taeyong has so many different skills (there is the artist side of dance and rap and writing skill but leadership is sooooo much more) to be the leader he is and it's been so wonderful to watch him grow in this. He has grown and developed so much and I love especially to see him get more gutsy and secure in himself as the years go by. There is no preparing anyone for this kind of thing, you have to learn as you go mostly.
And when I see the respect and love his members and colleagues in the industry have for him, that is the truest measure of leadership in my eyes. You can't force leadership, people have to want to follow your lead because they trust you and know you have their best interests at heart. Taeyong shows all of that time and time again. And anyone who doesn't see that, I feel they don't know NCT very well at all xx

You really can't force a leader out of someone, they have to be the ones that want to follow you, just like what other members do to Taeyong. They listen to him, they trust his advice and his skills, they let him guide them, they put their ears and minds out to him. Even someone older than him like Taeil and Johnny (who is couples of months older), dude, even Taemin looked for his assistance. Taeyong has the natural leadership vibe and aura in him that makes people willing to follow him. Even SM's producers, choreographers, editors, etc. trusts him with his works he lay out for them or they lay out for him and the group.

I only got to know NCT in 2020 through the NCT World 2.0. I had not even known that he was the leader then, but in the first episode even, it was already and immediately obvious why he was selected as leader. That boy is a problem solver, mediator, and is so patient. The members reacted to his calm energy quite instantly. I honestly don't have any bias, but if I ever did, Taeyong would be one of them.
i've been waiting for an updated compilation of taeyong leader moments for a long time. thank you for putting in so much work to show how hard he is working as a leader of NCT. it is a big burden and responsibility, one which i'm sure we only see a fraction of - partly because a lot of it is done behind the scenes as well, and partly because taeyong is a humble and down-to-earth person that rarely brags about all the things he does. fightyong to taeyong and tyongf!!

Lots of solo fans refer other members as leader or co-leader although it is official from the beginning that only Taeyong is the leader of 127 and whole NCT. Stumbled upon this video while scrolling and I have to click it. The reason I actually wanted to get to know NCT more (a fan of WayV first) was when I saw the clip where he helped Shotaro with the mic... He was so gentle and very helpful towards the other members. Cheering for NCT's success in the future!

I can't express how much I appreciate him. Honestly he's really amazing at everything he does. When I watched the behind the scenes for Aminoacid my admiration grew bigger for this man. I just can't forget how he directed every member but especially Jungwoo and how he told him he should sing his part like doing aegyo haha! That was genius! Our Leader Taeyong, be happy always!!
It really does suck to see people try and drag Taeyong for his past allegations and make him believe that he's the problem in the group when he's actually the pillar and strength of NCT, yes all the members play an important role in the NCT but Taeyong is what keeps them going. To think that he entered SM as someone who couldn't really dance, and then to turn into someone who can dance so well that he can lead the team and be a pillar for them, is insane. I'm not a solo stan for NCT, i love all of them but I do feel a lot of solo stan kinda "enjoy" discredit TY... from every single thing, it's so unfair. You can be solo stan BUT you don't have to pull down other member that isn't in your liking because with this action, you are pulling down ur fav as well, BECAUSE THEY ARE IN A GROUP. Back in the days, I used feel to like he only acts like the leader of 127 and I want him to visit WayV and Dreamies often in their MV shoots or whatever. But I realised how hard it must be for him,I see how to tries his best to interact with every member when he has the chance and I really appreciate him! No one could do it better than him. He did visit dreamies in the past . Dreamies themselves said that. I can't with some solo twitter dream stans always trying to make TY efforts gaslighted
He always visited and supported Dreamies, they commented on that multiple times and there is even some backstage videos. And regarding WayV, even when SM had politics of not mentioning them and pretending that they are not really part of NCT label, Taeyong still always openly acknowledged them and talked about them as part of Nct. He even talked about Kun - their leader(!) as his precious little brother, and we all know how good of a friend's him and Ten are. Newer members like Xiaojun, Yangyang and Hendery all had their interactions with him in 2020 when they stuck in Korea because of COVID and SM finally openly merged WayV with NCT label. Xiaojun talked a lot about how cool and helpful of a leader Taeyong is.

He does a lot more than we had thought... having over 20 young brothers to look out for to make sure they are feeling included, healthy, and happy, it takes a lot of work. Especially when it comes to making music and choreography, you have to make sure everyone has a part and that everyone gets recognized in some way and I think he does a good job of doing that. There is no doubt that Taeyong is a great leader.
Even member who being temporary "leader" for awhile when Taeyong rested before, not even a month, being frustrated so much about it and voiced his frustration himself. Imagine being Taeyong who already do that for years. Being a leader, especially for SM groups, you can't judge it just from something that you see on the screen. It's not that "shallow". Being leader is more than being the most caring member/s 😊

@@tytrack95 that's why I admire Taeyong so much and despise anyone who questioning & disrespect his leadership. I stan SM groups from 2008, so I witnessed many situations, especially how hard being the leader for SM groups. Considering the amount of the members & type of the group, objectively Taeyong already did soooo great. It's just, this fandom has quite "unique" way of thinking 😬
