I used the multi chart layout. After that you add the active trader and uncheck all the stocks trading and then make your settings for active trades options.
Ya give it a try! Webull has not glitched on me much and i actually think the times it has has been my computer freezing up not webull. Tos has screwed me so many times with glitches! Especially on the volatile days!

How do you see the stock chart but with the options pricing and volume coming in? Not the actual stock price and levels, but the options levels that are being bought on the actual stock chart? Thanks.
Put the options tickers into the level 2 is one way but your not seeing total options volume that way. There are a lot of services that will give you the options volumes and unusual options volumes
This is a great video! I'm about to deposit a good chunk in webull but have been leary about it. I've been worried that I won't be able to get my orders to execute for an effective quick scalp. Can you put my mind at ease or are there issues filling at the midprice fast?
It shows up in the order you add them in the settings. Kind of dumb... but thats the way it is. Play with the order you click them and you will see what I mean.
ya I wish you could do an oco on options. I bet itll be a future update. But sorry no there isnt a work around. I mean you could just set an alert for your target and put in a stop. Then when you get the alert just manually go in and get out.
what do you do when the spread is large, lets say AMZN, 2-3 dollar spread is common.. that would be the fastest way around that?? also, if I am trading AMZN, and the option chart pops up, what is the easiest way to get back to the regular chart.. I honestly use tradingview for all my charting. But i would say linking your chart to a watchlist and clicking on the stock in the watchlist is the fastest to change the chart. For a large spread like that i have hot keys for bid, ask and spread and when i want like slightly above the bid or something ill use the price ladder and change the incriments on the bottim.

This video no longer seems applicable - my webull software v.5.8 doesn't have the option to add "options" to the watchlist but instead has many other choices.
Hey sorry that was probably confusing. I created a custom watchlist and named it options. So you will have to creat a watchlist called options if you want that tab.

@@creolecajun9988 Right now Webull wont let you buy market but you can buy the ask which is pretty close to market. You can put in a stop loss but you cant buy and put in the stop loss all with one click. Tradestation is better at that.

I mean you have a much higher chance of getting filled on the ask but i like buying the bid most times because of the spreads fluctuating. However if i am doing a break out trade and want to get in right now ill hit the ask. Typically i am waiting for price to come to me though. I dont like to chase

So I need to go to SELL then readjust the price. now that is not using the active trader. I have meant to sell and my order window will populate with buy as default. I adjust my price, and its usually adjusted higher do to the fact im wanting to sell, but more than once I forget to change the but tab to sell, so it remains on buy, next thing I know, I own more contracts at a higher price..I hope that makes sense.. its my own fault, but under those conditions your always under the gun.. I wish you could customize that in the option chain, that would be sweet.. keep up the great videos, I have learned alot, except getting in and out fast.. I may go to the active trader but that has its limits to, I would like voice commands, that is not far fetched, look at all the apps that use voice these days..how about the price ladder? any know about that? thank you all..
Ya you cant use a market order to place order right now... Im sure they will change that eventually but for now the bid, ask and mid work great for me.

Ah man im sorry i thought you were commenting on a tradestation video. Ya there are no hotkeys for canceling options as of right now. I just right click and cancel order.
@@samtran01 probably one of the fastest ways to cancel an order is to do it is to link a chart and make sure to have your open trades showing on the chart. That way you can just click the X to cancel the trade or drag it on the chart to change it

They confirmed that there is no "Cancel" button in for Options. Which is weird b/c I think this is a very primitive function.
For me with Webull bids are filled betweek 1-3sec at times they are. So quick! Like 50-30ms! But I want to know how are fill time with the way you are using active trader I want to go with that. And Also have one setup prepared for options watchlist same as you.
I think u have to reselect the option from ur watchlist and then it can buy it but remember you cant buy market orders on webull options yet, you can only sell market orders once ur in a position. So buy ask/bid and sell market/ask/bid
Bro, this was very helpful. I knew about active trader, I use it daily for scalping shares. Just haven't been doing it right with options, trying to type in desired premium (taking too long) or immediately buying the ask and getting the worst price

I've been trying to get approved for options on TOS, but got rejected twice. At this point I might have to switch but I really like TOS i dislike webulls platform.
Dang! They must not have liked some of the answers on your application. The webull platform for options isnt extremely different from TOS. Plus its way cheaper. For option spreads tastyworks is another good option for options but not to great for scalping.

Do know what version of webull this is? i've been using this but ever since webull updated the platform the customize tab has been lagging, setting up an option contract so i can trade it takes longer because of the lag, i miss trades some times or because of this issue

I was confused about one thing before watching it - I thought the "Contracts" in Active Trade settings was for 100 shares (1 contract) since it shows default number 100 and also the word share next to it, your video answered my question that it's actually for 100 contracts and I'd have to change it to 1 if I just want to buy a single contract. You can group your widgets you can leave one widget where you can set it to the actual stock/price and another widget to whatever option you click on

Webull has come a long way, very nice interface and the keep adding.

You should get filled pretty quick in my opinion but you can always test it out with a small amount before you go bigger

I've been prone to buying the ask when I scalp options. Have you ever had trouble getting your order filled when you buy the bid?

You have to use the downloaded app you cant do it on the web version. At least to my knowledge you cant.

Try opening task manager then set webull process priority to high it should help

Honestly you probably never want to use a market order (just my opinion). Thats how you get the worst fill possible at that moment (this is a fact).
