If I put 1000$ a month on those stock's I will need 20 years to get a 1000$ per month before tax, which is better than nothing, but I know you can get there in 15 years with better stocks, anyway stick to the plan, and stay consistent. Good luck.

This is the second time watching your video..good one. Anyway, I’m a dividend investor but it’s a slow and steady growth. I’m 39 with a $300k portfolio and plan to retire at 60. My goal is to reach 2 million by then...I repositioned some of my dividend stocks using a broker. Now, I’m buying fractional shares of TSLA, AMC ,NIO ,NVR again. Before I was after dividends for passive income but it’s slow growth so i took my chances on high growth stocks and I've gotten a 120% increase this year but hopefully I’ll reach a million sooner
Alot of great advice and explaining something failry complicated in a way the newer trader can understand. AND OMG! i have accidentally bought puts instead of calls, didnt bother to check my account. just kept checking that the stock was moving in my favor, looked at everything at the end of the day and was like what did i do?!?!?!?!? instead of being up almost a hundred percent i was down 70 : ( great content, u gained a fan!
Amazing video but at the end when you're talking about stop losses and you're talking about GM you seem to have gone to stocks for your stop loss and take profit instead of options. I understand that thinkorswim has a bracket procedure for stop loss and take profit on options but not webull. as of now February 2022 you still cannot set a stop loss and to take profit like you did in the video. In the video when you are doing the stop loss on the webull app for GM you are clearly in the stock and not an option. is there some way that you have linked the stock with the option? Maybe I'm missing something but regardless again terrific video
Absolutely, this stuff is still super relevant and something I use every day. It's all about setting up scanners and screeners to catch specific chart setups on stocks. Once you spot those setups, you can pick the best option contracts by looking at things like the time until expiration and using metrics like implied volatility and the Greeks. The contracts you choose can vary based on your account specifics and what you're comfortable trading or risking. @@lavellelee5734 what’s working for me is trading repeatable, healthy growing stocks that I know I can trust my TA. Like NVDA, or DT, or AMD. I do quick flips, only hold a contract for a day or two. Above all, trust your gut and develop a strategy that fits your budget, time availability, and financial goals.
I haven't been trading long, but when I do, I get caught up in the terms🤣...bullish...bearish....stop loss...lol...geesh...but learning so much from you...thank you!!!
To be honest, my knowledge about platforms outside of the US is zero. Interactive Brokers and Zerodha are generally mentioned a lot, I'd recommend reaching out to an expert in your region for advice that's more tailored to your situation.

For me, you’ll want to know the terms of whatever you don’t understand and when that makes sense it’ll make it easier to move forward when you know. The learn the charts, finding trends and things like that
I am still confused on how you can make 100 per day, I’ve watched this video about 3 times and I’m still not understanding it. I would’ve liked if you used paper trading or something to see more explains and potentially explain a little more in detail based on those paper trades.

The reason why I wanted to see paper trading in this video is so that we can see kinda like live demonstrations of you making multiple transactions with the paper trade as we would from the viewers perspective as people who want to make the gain of 100 per day. That way we can see more examples of how it would be when you actually hold it with the strategy plan of 100 per day.
@@habanofabian4142 Making money through options is definitely possible, but never easy or automatic. Additionally, when buying calls, there are so many factors working against you. For starters, the more consistent way to make money is to sell calls or puts, and credit spreads.

So say the stock goes well above the strike price, how exactly are you making money when buying a call option? Do you have to exercise the option to make your profit, or do you sell the contract? I've watched many videos & read a lot on it but no one really explains that part.
You would be making money because the call option gains value as the stock price changes. The option Greeks let you know how much you gain or lose per dollar change in the stock (delta), and other Greeks will let you know how sensitive the option value is the time (theta), volatility (vega), and so forth. One important point is that you do not have to exercise your option contract to make a profit. Exercising an option essentially means buying 100 shares of the stock outlined in the contract, which can be a significant investment. Instead of exercising the option, you can choose to sell the contract itself. If the contract's value has increased due to favorable stock market changes, you can sell it for a profit. This way, you're able to multiply your investment while trading options without the need to buy the actual stock. I hope this clarifies things for you! Let me know if you have any other questions.

And when selling a call option contract you are just selling the right to buy shares, there's still no obligation to buy/sell those shares, correct?
@@chrisz5z You're spot-on with your understanding of selling a call option contract. When you sell your option contract, you do have to wait for someone to buy it. That's why I always recommend looking for option contracts with open interest and volume of at least 500 to 1,000. This helps ensure there's a more active market for that specific contract. Concerning order types, there are two primary options: market orders and limit orders. A market order is executed at the prevailing market price and gets filled almost immediately, while a limit order allows you to set a specific price at (or better than) which you're hoping to sell your contract. Limit orders can potentially fetch a better price, but they're not guaranteed to fill if the market doesn't reach your specified price. High volume contracts are valuable for another reason: they often have a narrower bid-ask spread. This translates to more competitive pricing when buying or selling contracts. And you're only obligated to buy(calls)/sell (puts) the 100 shares when youre the option "writer". If you do a Buy to Enter, Sell to close order, you're technically the option holder. You have the right, but not the oblication to buy the underlying stock.

This is a great video! I've watched it a few times to make sure I didn't miss anything. The one question I have is setting up stop losses on Options. I use Webull for my platform and when I go in to place the options order I don't see the section that lets me choose the stop loss amount. What am I missing?

@@lavellelee5734 what’s working for me is trading repeatable, healthy growing stocks that I know I can trust my TA. Like NVDA, or DT, or AMD. I do quick flips, only hold a contract for a day or two.

The probability of profit on an ATM call is like 30% due to theta decay. If you got the bread you are way better off selling option premium.

I am still confused on how you can make 100 per day, I’ve watched this video about 3 times and I’m still not understanding it. I would’ve liked if you used paper trading or something to see more explains and potentially explain a little more in detail based on those paper trades.

The reason why I wanted to see paper trading in this video is so that we can see kinda like live demonstrations of you making multiple transactions with the paper trade as we would from the viewers perspective as people who want to make the gain of 100 per day. That way we can see more examples of how it would be when you actually hold it with the strategy plan of 100 per day.
@@habanofabian4142 Making money through options is definitely possible, but never easy or automatic. Additionally, when buying calls, there are so many factors working against you. For starters, the more consistent way to make money is to sell calls or puts, and credit spreads.
I know nothing about trading. I don't have a lot of money to start with.
You can start wherever you are. The important this is understanding what’s going on and how to move in the market

So say the stock goes well above the strike price, how exactly are you making money when buying a call option? Do you have to exercise the option to make your profit, or do you sell the contract? I've watched many videos & read a lot on it but no one really explains that part.
You would be making money because the call option gains value as the stock price changes. The option Greeks let you know how much you gain or lose per dollar change in the stock (delta), and other Greeks will let you know how sensitive the option value is the time (theta), volatility (vega), and so forth.
One important point is that you do not have to exercise your option contract to make a profit. Exercising an option essentially means buying 100 shares of the stock outlined in the contract, which can be a significant investment.
Instead of exercising the option, you can choose to sell the contract itself. If the contract's value has increased due to favorable stock market changes, you can sell it for a profit. This way, you're able to multiply your investment while trading options without the need to buy the actual stock.

When you sell a call option contract that has gained value, do you have to wait for someone to buy it, or does it automatically sell & you profit? And when selling a call option contract you are just selling the right to buy shares, there's still no obligation to buy/sell those shares, correct?
@@chrisz5z You're spot-on with your understanding of selling a call option contract. When you sell your option contract, you do have to wait for someone to buy it. That's why I always recommend looking for option contracts with open interest and volume of at least 500 to 1,000. This helps ensure there's a more active market for that specific contract.
Concerning order types, there are two primary options: market orders and limit orders. A market order is executed at the prevailing market price and gets filled almost immediately, while a limit order allows you to set a specific price at (or better than) which you're hoping to sell your contract. Limit orders can potentially fetch a better price, but they're not guaranteed to fill if the market doesn't reach your specified price.
High volume contracts are valuable for another reason: they often have a narrower bid-ask spread. This translates to more competitive pricing when buying or selling contracts.
And you're only obligated to buy(calls)/sell (puts) the 100 shares when youre the option "writer". If you do a Buy to Enter, Sell to close order, you're technically the option holder. You have the right, but not the oblication to buy the underlying stock.

This is a great video! I've watched it a few times to make sure I didn't miss anything. The one question I have is setting up stop losses on Options. I use Webull for my platform and when I go in to place the options order I don't see the section that lets me choose the stop loss amount. What am I missing?
you select the option that you are closing, and make sure its a limit sell, put your limit number there.
