Absolute amazing track. Yotto's music is like story telling. So many negative comments like "bring back the old Yotto" "its to happy" "its too progressive"...everything in this life is subject to change and music is too, happy stories, sad stories, intense stories, blissful stories, passionate stories, pleasurable stories and these can be told through music, this track just makes me feel happy and would 100% go off at a festival or anywhere in fact. Also so many comments loving the track, that far outweigh the negative ones. You are allowed to like or dislike the track but there's zero point spreading negative comments on such a positive upbeat track...Peace.

No. I wouldn't say it competes with them because I take every piece of work from an artist as its own story. I believe artistic talent is an evolving thing and to do well, you have to let your art live through you and grow and change, not find out what is a hit and try sticking to that groove. The ones you mentioned are solid gold but those were creations born of an artist in a single time period of their art's evolution process. Art evolves, I try to always listen to what the artist is trying to tell the audience at that moment in time.

First one from Yotto I am not a big fan of. Anyone else dislike the sound that is really loud at 3:50, the kind of modulated happy sounding voice thingy? It's too loud and too "happy" imo.. Also the chords it plays are kind of overused in pop music or more poppy progressive house. Anyways absolutely love Yottos sound usually

If it's any reassurance, as far as I can tell his DJ sets are pretty diverse sound-wise. He's much more of a "story-teller" DJ (knitting together a number of different sounds in service of an overall feeling) than he is someone who just finds one groove and rides it for 90 minutes.
I hope that made sense, it's late and I'm tired.
He makes his usual deep groovy stuff and then mixes it up with upbeat stuff like this, this isnt his first time hes done this-e.g Marisa and Song from the sun, both fantastic songs
