The J2 is the same. The difference is if the motor is more powerful, and from what I know, the motor is about in power. Both machines have almost identical designs. At the moment there are about 4 other machine that now carry this design.I have used the J2 for a year and a half and it has been game changer. However, the plastic blade - which both machines use - is showing signs of wear already. It is now starting to have trouble with some of the more fibery veggies which was not the case when it was new. I will be using that warranty for a replacement. We drink 3 gallons of juice each week. The large batch making capability is great but the machine because of the plastic blades is not holding up. I have VitaMix that is 15 years old but it does not make juice as well as the J2 but the blade is metal and still sharp. These machines are not cheap. If you only make 2 glasses of juice a week, and only use very soft ingredients, then it might last a few more years before you see any wear. For the price both machines should be offering a metal blade or a higher grade of plastic. The concept is a great one but the cost cutting is hurting us the consumer in the long run.

At first glance, the Auto10 does appear the same. However there are several differences.
      1. More powerful motor. 240 watts vs 200 on the J2.
      2. Longer run time of 45 min vs 30 on the J2
      3. Almost double the size batching hopper. 100 oz on the Auto10 vs 65 oz on the J2.
      4. Pulp outlet chute is bigger so less clogging potential on the Auto10
      5. Sorbet attachment included vs not on the J2
As to the quality of the juicing parts on the J2 and the Auto10, they are made with the highest quality food-grade plastic available. They are designed to withstand a certain level of use for sure.
At a level of use beyond that, they will definitely experience wear, as they are plastic.
This is not a cost cutting issue, rather an exceedance of the material’s capabilities.
If one is experiencing excessive wear due to volume of juicing, I would acknowledge the level of use rather than blame the juicer’s material quality or supposed company cost cutting.
For experienced and higher volume juice makers such as yourself, I would recommend a juicer that has all stainless steel parts which will not wear under the duress of high volume juicing.
      Here are my top choices:
      geni.us/PURE
      geni.us/GreenStar5
As you mentioned, your Vitamix has a stainless steel blade and has no wear.
So it appears that you have your answer to purchase a machine that has durability capabilities that align with your volume juicing needs.
Additionally, it’s important to note that the higher quality and more durable stainless steel machines will be more expensive and also will be slower to use.
It’s also important to note that they will produce a higher quality and higher quantity of juice.
The juices made on these stainless steel juicers will also have higher levels of nutrients and enzymes, less pulp in the juice and better juice phytonutrient bioavailability.
Ultimately, you’ll have to decide which style of juicer that you prefer:
      1. Super fast and convenient plastic juicer.
      Or
      2. Super durable and higher quality stainless steel juicer.
Appreciate your comment and appreciate you tuning in!

Yeah big price difference and they only copied the J2 and made a larger hopper

    • @JuiceFeaster
      @JuiceFeaster  5 місяців тому +1

@@dapittg fun fact….the Nama J2 was released a year after the Hurom H200. Who copied who? 🤣
You noticed the larger hopper design, but you didn’t mention the Auto10’s larger motor, longer run time or wider pulp outlet chute. You also didn’t notice that the Auto10 comes with a sorbet attachment and the Nama J2 doesn’t.
While I appreciate your attempt to claim that the Auto10 is just an overpriced copy of the J2, the real question is if there are improvements on an already great design? My testing shows that this is definitely the case.
Just like the J2 made improvements on the Hurom H200 that came before it, the Auto10 has made improvements on the J2. That’s called innovation.
That concept in engineering and product development is why we can take a jet airliner around the world today rather than a canvas winged bi-plane like the wright brothers made.
That concept is why we have Lamborghinis as opposed to a Model T Ford.
This innovation is why we have amazing juicers today that extract incredible nutrition for us easily and efficiently vs the old Jack Lalane crappy centrifugal styles or beast mode Champion juicers of the past.
This innovation is a good thing.
Appreciate your loyalty to the J2, as it’s a good one and I recommend it. However, it’s important to look at the entire picture to make an accurate assessment.
      Thanks for tuning in!

      Hello!
Both have the “smoothie” screen to make a juice with lots of pulp or a smoothie style. So either one works great.
The only way to make something close to peanut butter would be to use the sorbet blank attachment. This comes standard on the Auto10, but is an extra purchase on the J2.
