You know... it never occurred to me, until very recently... I could fight for me, too. Not just other people. Just for me. Not because people would be sad if I got hurt, but just because I shouldn’t have to get hurt. I don’t deserve to be hurt. It’s... monumental, to me. Everyone always goes on about needing a reason to live, and I’ve found that such thinking is harmful. Why should I have to justify my existence, as if it’s something shameful? Why should I have to find some reason to keep going as if my life itself isn’t reason enough?

I've been watching these videos for almost an hour and I've noticed in the comments how many people are saying this band stopped them from committing suicide. That alone, including the amazing music and lyrics should be more than hardcore proof that this band really is one of the best to ever exist, if not the absolute best

Everyone keeps saying that God is the reason to fight, but I'm an atheist (Don't Attack Me, Please!), and if a god from a religion is helping you keep up a fight, that's great! But for me, the reason I continue in the fight is for the people I care about, even if I grow so scared to the point of a panic attack, I'll still fight. If my depression leads me to suicidal thoughts, I'll pick myself up and fight, I'm still alive today due to my fear of death, but also because I don't wanna leave the people I love. The fight of life is something you should continue, and I know one day I will go back and read this to help myself, as well. So to everyone out there (Even Me!), I am here for you, and I will help you fight.

Hey, I'm sorry about your depression. I hope you're getting better (I realize you wrote this comment a long time ago). I used to have panic attacks, so I know how that is, and I think it's great that you're offering to help people fight. I'm thinking about becoming a psychologist or something since I've been through quite a lot myself. Personally, I believe in God and I think it's sad that you expect people to 'attack' you on here because you say you're an atheist. People should love others, even if others are different from themselves. I believe my faith is the happiest thing on earth (it's brought me through so much), so naturally, I'd like others to find the peace of Jesus Christ, but I realize not everyone's going to do that. Suddenly, I realized how I got here, and I'm glad I made the decision to watch Minecraft Story Mode.
Cause not only is it awesome, it caused me to meet a MCSM AMV with a RWBY song. That led me to RWBY.
RWBY, which is also awesome, had an AMV with the song Fight on it. Normally I don't like artists I find from AMVs, but IFH was different and I loved them.

I happened to stumble across RWBY through a crazy series of events that started off with me wondering who'd win a fight between Mewtwo & Shadow, which made me come across a Death Battle fanfiction, which got me into Death Battle (first one I watched was Wolverine vs Raiden), and I ended up watching Yang vs Tifa which got me interested in RWBY and I finally got hooked into the series after watching the original trailers.
This song reminds me that everything will be alright.

I think it's about fighting mental illness, but describing it as a form of disease. I've been analyzing the lyrics for a while now, and this is the best theory I have. Not saying it's the real meaning, it's just what I got from it.

I'm not belittling you for being an atheist (although I will pray for you). These people aren't forcing their beliefs on anyone, they're just writing what they feel. And just because we believe in God/Jesus and follow certain rules for a moral life and like to pray.......that's doesn't stop us from 'thinking for ourselves' as you put it. We're not slaves. What we believe doesn't affect you at all, so with all due respect, you should probably think before calling someone a 'snowflake'. (For the record, I don't even know what that means😆) You may not think so, but criticizing someone for believing in a Creator and an afterlife is a form of bullying, no matter what the intention. I'm just saying that sometimes certain opinions are better left unspoken to avoid looking like a....well.....let's just say an unpleasant person.
