Wembley LIVE !! It is a piece of history that they left for all of us. To play over and over, sigh sure wish they could have kept going their music really is timeless.
Gosh their music. One of the best bands of the 80's. They helped define that generation. Listen to "Disappear." That song will rock your world. Michael Hutchence's vocals blow me away every time.
Thank you Thank you Thank you for reacting to this song! INXS is one of my all time favorite bands! They have so many great songs- Disappear, What You Need( Live From Wembley 91), The Stairs, New Sensation, Suicide Blonde just to name a few I could go on and on and on! You won't be disappointed! So sad Michael is no longer with us he was truly amazing, great front man and did I mention BEAUTIFUL!! Please keep up the great reactions!!
INXS were at the top in the late 80s-90s. On MTV all day..Michael Hutchence a rock god sex symbol, and all of them extremely talented. Mystify, Dissapear, Bitter Tears...they have endless good songs
As a kid I wanted to be Michael when I grew up. Handsome, vocals, vibe he had. He was the first person I admired that committed suicide and I was crushed. Absolutely crushed and confused but it helped me go forward to know in life you never know what someone else is going through. So thankful we have his voice to remember him by. Love INXS. So many wonderful songs.
Yes, he is beyond handsome! You so have to watch them live performances to get the full feel for this band and Micheal as a frontman, check them at Wembley Stadium!
This is one of my favorite songs by INXS and they have so many great hits!! Michael Hutchence was so amazing and so talented, my heart still hurts thinking about losing him! I loved INXS and I played the album Kick! over and over! He was very sexy! 💖💖💖💖
I saw them in the early 80s and believe it or not they opened up for the Go Gos. They stole the show I must say. Rip Michael you left us way too soon thanks for giving us your amazing talent. May God bless you and your family 🙏
I saw this group perform Live in my hometown in one of those summer Spirit Fest and it was awesome, When I heard the news of his death, I was upset. Not many singers, or band members upset me of their deaths like Hutchence did to me , and I've endured many news of deaths in my life time.
Heyy Jayy...... I discovered this band and song when my daughter started listening to them. I have always loved this song..... the part, "Cause we all have wings, But some of us don't know why".... I love it cause it is so true. Kind of like Susan Boyle. When she walked out on that stage, nobody could see her wings because they had been so depressed and flattened by people's judgmental attitudes. But when she started singing, those wings spread out wide and she found out that she indeed had wings and she discovered what they were for. That saxophone part sends me too. lol Thanks for your reaction....Take care and be well. Peace.
JAYYYYY. YOU MADE MY DAY!!!! I swear This band is one of my all time favorites!!! You can’t go wrong with ANY SONG they do. For a rocking one try “ suicide BLONDE” Oh and..... how good looking was he?
Oh yes, I was in love with Michael Hutchence since the first time I saw him in grade school! Such a beautiful and sexy man, with such an amazing presence and soulful voice -- just like my other biggest musical crush Chris Cornell. And unfortunately both of their lives came to such a tragic end. RIP to Michael and Chris, miss them always 💔
Thanks for reacting to our great Aussie music. Michael and Andrew(keyboard player) went to my husband's school! THE ONE THING is a MUST (official video), spicy as you say 😂
The Australian music scene was great in the eighties and INXS was a big part of it. Another great Aussie band to check out is The Divinyls. Most people outside Australia only know them for their song 'I Touch Myself' but they were so much more than that. It's hard to find good quality videos of some of their earlier hits, but try looking up 'Science Fiction' and 'Boys in Town'. 'Hey Little Boy' is another good one.
@@LynneStringerAuthor well the band did officially form in Melbourne, members being from both countries... just like AC/DC who were half Ausies and Scotts but formed in Sydney
This album completely defined my sophomore year of college. I played this tape on repeat constantly. I also bought the vinyl and played it so often that my roommates wanted to kill me, I'm sure! And yes, Michael Hutchence was so gorgeous!
One of my all time favorite bands of all time. I love INXS and I've always said that I want to have an all black rock band version of INXS. And you look stunningly beautiful as always
I just watched your need you tonight reaction and boom, you just posted this one. I saw INXS in concert in 1990, they sounded just like their album. Michael Hutchence was incredible live!
The synth on this song is so beautifully haunting. And the pause at 2:29 is one of the most suspenseful moments in any INXS track. Michael Hutchence was one of the hottest men in rock n roll.

I was born in Philly and moved to Australia in 1977 ( I was only 5)... played drums in cover bands and love your reactions to a lot of songs I’ve played 👍 Definitely a top3 Aussie band... AC/DC, INXS and Cold Chisel Please check out Cold Chisel ... Forever now, When the war is over ( bow river, which is a bit more up tempo ) You definitely won’t be disappointed 😘
All the women have the same reaction to Michael Hutchence. There are several documentaries about him, and INXS. Unfortunately, we lost Michael several years ago due to clinical depression that was aggravated by some gut wrenching issues that involved his girlfriend.
In the 80s all women wanted him and all men wanted to be him. Was able to see them on the Kick tour after Joshua Tree tour. What a timeline. I'll never get over his passing.
we enjoyed this in the 80's, this was top 40! the reason all the reviewers are finding 70's and 80's music so gripping is that the music was about love and commitment, sounds strange and idealistic to modern ears, it was ok to dream, today it is about sexual lust and materialism
Hey sweet Jayy- please react to their jam “what you need” ,an often looked over HIT! Also a must is “Need .you tonight/ Mediate.” The Mediate part is a must, so please react to it , but make sure it’s the longer version titled “Need you tonight AND Mediate” please! - some have made the mistake of not to doing the ENTIRE song and it’s very disappointing... to say the least- kinda like how “we will rock you” and “we are the champions” go into one another- that type deal- 🥰✌️

The album KICK came out when I was 16. I think everyone in my high school had it! I wore this cassette (yes, cassette lol) out a few times cruising with friends. What a great album & band. RIP Michael.
Im an Aussie from Sydney but I live in London. I have a couple of Michael Hutchence stories...I drove past his funeral whilst listening to it on the radio in Sydney, a few years later a housemate worked at the hotel where he killed himself the room is apparently booked out every yr the day he died. But my favourite moment was being in Prague where this was filmed, standing on the bridge calling my mother telling her...
One thing ) mystify)(disapear)(don't change)i vote for this list (" if we could live a for a thousand years & if i hurt you I'll make wine from your tears ..
Hey Jaayyyyy, loved your reaction to a legendary Aussie band. It’s a great song, one of their best. You need to check out ‘Good Times’ a duet with INXS and Jimmy Barnes, it’s a real rockin party track. Party on Jay !!! 🌹🤠
Michael Hutchence, just oozed sensuality. RIP beautiful man.
Nobody just gets over watching INXS videos. They were the real deal.
She is ready now...."What You Need" live at Wembley Stadium. You cannot fully appreciate INXS until you get to see them perform live.

this song is magic, pure and simple. im so glad you listened to it today. we lost a great talent when Michael died.

He was a beautiful man and the way his hair moved around his face always made me do the doggie head tilt as a stared. It was a great loss.
Beautiful song! Michael Hutchens had a beautiful voice!
This song still gets me, 27 years after it came true.. but then life did tear us apart. Good memories from that song though.
Every time I hear an INXS song I get sad 😔 Michael was a beautiful and talented singer and suicide took him from the world. Love this song.
We all had huge crushes on Michael as teenagers and the band Omygosh! INXS had so much good music ! All round awesome Aussie band.😃
Kirk's sax solo is on point. Def a highlight of the song.
Yes Michael Hutchinson most women agreed. May he rest in peace

Michael knew he was very handsome too! His death was so tragic.
That is my favorite song by INXS. In fact I think it's there best song...
First concert I ever went to. INXS Auckland, New Zealand 17th October 1988.
Half a lifetime ago.😃
Australia's pride and joy ❤

You nailed it. That song makes me cry. Genuine love is when two worlds collide to form a bigger one.
My favorite INXS song...goodness Michael was so freaking gorgeous...his hair !!

Micheal Hutchins was a lyrical genius this song according to his life story was written by him in 30mins after he was played the tune.
Yes he was and I believe it only took him 5 minutes for I Need you tonight.
Such an amazing voice & such a tragic ending to his life ! Suicide may have taken his life but his music lives on !!! R.I.P. !!!
it might have been.. something else he did
@@mike04574 I agree it might not have been suicide. David Caradine died the way I believe Hutch did.
Love INXS! This is my fave song of all time! "Mystify" is close. They have so many great songs as others have mentioned 🎧 💓 🎶
This is such a lovely and special song. They played this at Michael’s funeral while they were carrying his coffin out if the church.
