Is part of the game taking other people's videos without asking them? And deleting their comments when they get rightfully upset? Because that sounds like a blast and would really replicate the Watch Mojo experience! Or can we just google board game videos and take the first 10 videos we find? Wow, this game is getting better and better by the minute!!!

With 50 different scenarios you never know how Betrayal will end, Betrayal also has an expansion that features 50 more scenarios that can take place when youve played all 50 of the base game, and Castle Panic is a 2 to 6 player co op tower defense game that EVERY ONE of my friends owns it also has 4 expansions!

I have a love/hate relationship with BETRAYAL. I Should have been great! However, my copy virtually never sees the table. Everyone LOVES the early part of the game. BUT once the Betrayal occurs, it goes South. Too many of the storys are weak, confusing and worst: lead to arguments over What has to be done for Victory. I would have liked the game MUCH more if they had cut the Number of scenarios in half, then DOUBLED both the amount of story AND made the RULES and VICTORY CONDITIONS absolutely concise..... no misunderstandings or other b/s that leaves players confused and let down.

My parents, in their 60s, and my siblings only play card games like Uno or Phase 10. My geeky friends and I like any of the Arkham Horror based games, and my son and nephew and nieces and I love co-op games for families like Forbidden Island and Forbidden Desert. If we are talking table top in general, then I have to recommend Dominion a deck building game. while previous experience in a deck building style of table top games is not necessary, the learning curve on how to strategize does mean beginners luck (the luck of the draw does come into play on occasion) rarely ever results in a beginner's victory, however since victory is obtained by having the most points compared to your 3 opponents I have seen 2nd and 3rd place finishes largely because of the phenomenon. A game is fairly short 30-45 min on average (rule of thumb add about 10-15 per new player). Setup can take a bit especially when you add the expansions, however once you and you table top group get the hang of it you will be hooked I can almost guarantee it!

Hands down the most played in my house and my favorite game is Dice Throne. It is a 1v1 Yahtzee style game with cards. You take 1 of 16 unique characters, with board and pamphlet of powers and roll your dice. "Look I have done 12 points of damage to you because I got a large straight 2,3,4,5,6. opponent says "not this time. I thrown down my helping hand and make you reroll your 4 and you get a 2,3,5,5,6. I break up your Large Straight and you don't have anything. I take nothing" The close second is Dice Throne Adventures. Instead of 1v1 attacking it is a 1-4 player dungeon crawl with the same characters but you are facing minion's and monsters to kill the ultimate Boss.

Gloomhaven, up to 4 players coop, can even be played solo (but what's the fun) currently adapted on PC early access on steam.
Each player picks a class and progress through various scenarios.
You choose 2 cards from a deck unique to your class each turn until your deck is spent. You then need to rest and burn a card in the process. When out of cards before the end of the scenario, you die. Each card has two parts and you choose a part on the first card and the other part on the 2nd card. (Can't pick both top or both bottom). Instead of rolling dice you draw modifier cards for each action.
It has a permanent progression system too with level ups that let's you pick one new card to add to your deck among 2, each time stronger than the last.
Lots of fun and very hard.
