Technically, "Aloha Summer" was Carrere's first movie, filmed three years before whatever this is. But it sat on the shelf for four years. Them's the breaks. She was on TV shows like "MacGyver", "The A-Team", and "Drunk Jan Michael Vincent Pretends He Can Fly A Helicopter AKA Airwolf" between the filming of "Aloha Summer" and "Zombie Nightmare". "Wayne's World" and her marriage to the guy who went on to produce "Battlefield Earth" were still years away.

Mike, I just watched what must be one of the worst, most bizarre, pointless movies I've ever seen "Evils Of The Night" on Tubi last night. Julie Newmar, Tina Louise and John Carradine. No plot, no gore, no scares, no budget but a first half jam packed with pointless, gratuitous nudity. With a cast like that there has to be more to the story. I think it was 1985 which explains a lot. I knew I was in trouble when the movie started with stock footage of a shuttlecraft from "Battlestar Galactica". Is this train wreck worthy of a video review?

It's beyond over the top vulgarity, and features an end fight where a flatulent protagonist faces off with a parasitic queen (both flying as they fight) it's more of a "wtf did I just watch?" kind of movie that not everyone will enjoy. But if you like goofy, off the rails wild type movies that make very little sense but keep you laughing the entire time, maybe give it a try

Great job, Mike. Unfortunately every time I see Adam West I'm reminded of when I worked for a medical accountancy firm as a computer programmer after graduating BSU in 1992. He lived around Sun Valley at the time and he (or his team) would often neglect paying their hospital bills which led us potentially to turn his account over to a collection agency. Sooo many times Mr. West's team would magically come up with the funds right at the last minute and avoid repercussions.I feel confident that he himself had no idea as to what was going on, but, come on, someone's gotta be doing the books, right? Cheers!
References to Sleepaway Camp, Sha Na Na, Nukes Top 5, Dead Milkmen AND a callback to my days watching Yo! MTV Raps?? 😅 It's an embarrassment of riches today! Thanks Mike. 💞
Poor Adam West, between the Caped Crusader and the Quahog mayor, he had to settle for roles in Zombie Nightmare, The Happy Hooker Goes to Hollywood, Young Lady Chatterley 2, and his bit TV parts.
Oh my God I'd forgotten all about this one. Saw it years ago, and it left no impression whatsoever. I was about halfway through your video before I realized I'd seen it. You did make me remember another movie, though. With the reference to "I can't believe it's not Michael J. Fox" combined with the body going through changes gag, Teenwolf immediately sprang to mind. Always loved the coach's less-than-helpful response to Michael in that when he goes to him about his body going through changes. You also got me thinking, is Miss Cleo starting to drift into "Christ I'm Old" territory? I sometimes don't fully appreciate just how much time has passed since I was young.
IMO, you have uncovered another gem of the genre from the late 1980's. I was doing some "wiki" research , I found the writer " John Fusano" also did "The Hunley" for TNT . That is as old school and OG as its gets. 😎👌✌ I will have to look up this film for the fact it has alot of interesting chit and people from the 1980's behind it . Good pick Mikey. Keep eating your "Life" cereal. 😎. Christ I am old.
This video gets a huge thumbs up for the X clan reference alone! Your deep knowledge of old school hip hop (the only hip hop that matters) and horror movies is insane! Xclan... Christ, I'M old😅
This is my kind of bad movie... the fun kind. It has more of a slasher vibe than a typical zombie movie vibe. It has interesting acting. I got no bruce Wayne/Batman or Family Guy mayor vibes from Adam West; he might be a better actor than I gave him credit for. The witch woman gave a wonderfully overblown performance. Detective Frank was hilarious with his out-in-the-open tailing technique. In searching this one out, Zombie Night turned up. Asked a you while back if you'd seen this one and you said you hadn't yet. It's a Romero-esque zombie film with a surprisingly good cast: Michael Anthony Hall, Darryl Hannah, Alan Ruck and Shirley Jones. It's directed by John Gullager, son of Clu Gullager, who also directed and Feast trilogy and Piranha 3DD. Love to hear you opinion on this one.
That was a rotary phone, Mike. You can't fool me, my grandparents had one in their home. And I should mention that Jason Brant reviewed this film recently, had a decent laugh out of it.
I salute your dedication to the cause, because I did not make it all the way through this one. The fact is, this is really not a zombie flick IMHO, it is a horribly boring slasher flick with a voodoo gimmick which simply did not work. That said, Adam West was a decent actor who deserved better. I get the impression, mainly from the Simpsons but also from other appearances, that he was a cool dude who genuinely appreciated the fans who remembered him for the very role that saw him typecasted. That is exactly the kind of cool you would expect from the Batman character he created.
Aaron Krickstein, you mean Marathin Man,lol,I loved 80's tennis and played a bit as well. That Bjorn Borg reference in the last video did not go unnoticed, awesome poster too.Great job like always Mike,I appreciate the effort, best to you always
Great Lemmy's ghost batman! This movie has Tia Carrere in it! Party on Wayne. Party on Garth. Here in Califailure, shooting bottle rockets at hobos is the only entertainment left that I can afford. This 🤮🎥 seems like it was made as a high school project by kids with famous adjacent relatives talked into being in it. Truly an awful movie, which I'm here for. Need proof? I love the movie Pink Flamingos. I'm sick. I need help. Voodoo lady? More like voodoodoo. You killed it again! Stay SICK Mike. I'm going back to building my CENOTAPH. Listen to BOLT THROWER!!!!🤘👹💀👹🤘

I spoil you guys... :p
This video is far more entertaining than the movie.
Hell yeah!
Awesome!!!! Thank you for doing this one!!!! 🍻 to you bruva!!
"Hell yeah"
Poor Adam West, between the Caped Crusader and the Quahog mayor, he had to settle for roles in Zombie Nightmare, The Happy Hooker Goes to Hollywood, Young Lady Chatterley 2, and his bit TV parts.
He was all over TV in the 70's.
Yeah, Cleo is very close to christ I'm old country at this point...which is insane to me.
IMO, you have uncovered another gem of the genre from the late 1980's. I was doing some "wiki" research ,
I found the writer " John Fusano" also did "The Hunley" for TNT . That is as old school and OG as its gets. 😎👌✌
I will have to look up this film for the fact it has alot of interesting chit and people from the 1980's behind it .
Good pick Mikey. Keep eating your "Life" cereal. 😎. Christ I am old.
11:00 : Agreed, he definitely needs more " Chiropractice "
Hahaha! I'm stealing that for later.
The mst3k episode had great riffing 🎉
Almost assuredly better than mine. :p
@@TheHorrorGeek agreed
Altered Beast reference... immediate/automatic thumbs up. 👍
Thanks, Horror Geek. These always brighten a gloomy day.
YES! Zombie Nightmare!!! Love it :)
The MST3K is legendary :)
This video gets a huge thumbs up for the X clan reference alone! Your deep knowledge of old school hip hop (the only hip hop that matters) and horror movies is insane! Xclan... Christ, I'M old😅
Haha! Glad it resonates. :p
Great job, Mike!
I love it when you do a movie I’ve actually seen! Your reviews always make me smile! 😀
Great movie review Mike.
Rise from the astroturf!
My kinda cheese. I remember this movie, so bad it's awesome!
Voodoo zombies will never top Romero zombies, IMO.
17:23 had me crying😂😂😂sound effect at the same time she fallls to the ground

She's running...right past the exit.
This is great, I get horror, wrestling, bodybuilding, and XCLAN references in one video.
Aaron Krickstein, you mean Marathin Man,lol,I loved 80's tennis and played a bit as well. That Bjorn Borg reference in the last video did not go unnoticed, awesome poster too.Great job like always Mike,I appreciate the effort, best to you always
Haha! Thanks man!
It made for a good MST3K episode...
