Two words come to mind when I hear Memphis wrestling - Jerry Lawler. Mr Lawler you have an absolutely beautiful home. Thank you for the tour and thank you for always giving your fans 100 percent.
Always been one of my all time favorites. Beautiful home. Man took care of his personal stuff and a world class artist. TY, King for the personal experience and look in your life.
Watching jerry speak about each thing and how he came about it reminded me so much of my father. Its been well over 25 years since my father passed away and watching this made it seem like dad was right there....
I met him at O'Hare Airport. I carried his bags to the plane. I love this guy. He's a very humble guy in real life. He's the King for a reason. He's been in the industry at least 35 plus years.
Jerry is proof that real life heroes exist. I grew up watching him wrestle and his name The King suits him perfectly. He is still the King and a walking talking legend.
HEY, KING! Damn, Jerry, you got a NICE crib! I just remember learning so much from watching you and working with you and Jerry Jarrett in MEMPHIS! I was so green and screwed up so many times! Looks like you've got all you need, brother. Tell Jerry I said hello and that I SO appreciate what he (and you) did for my career! Geez, I miss those days, but I want to thank you for all your help. Loved working with you and I hope you continue with pro wrestling until you decide to retire. I did retire about 7 years ago and I will ALWAYS have good memories about you and Jerry Jarrett and Handsome Jimmy Valiant! (Spoke with him a few years back but last I heard was he was training guys for our SPORT) from one of your top fans, Go with GOD, my man! May HE continue to guide you on your journey. My wife and I just moved back to Indianapolis to be closer to our family. So, if you need a 71 year old jobber- DO NOT CALL ME!!!
What a genuine all around well spoken and respectful man Jerry is and such a family man. Can really see him get a little bit emotional when he was showing his son's Brian's collection. And such a talent. Beautiful home Jerry
RIP to his son. Brian lawler. Too cool was such a fun tag team in wrestling. it must be gut wrenching the way he passed away. he's got such a nice home. The king Jerry lawler 👍
Absolutely amazing video. Ever since King did a very short house tour for WWE's UA-cam channel in like 2012, I've been craving a full length tour. Every single time I see a piece of Coca-Cola merch I think of the King. An incredible storyteller. Thanks for doing this!
Definitely, the Man is amazing! A modern day Leonardo Da Vinci! A great wrestler, but it looks like art is truly his passion. A life well lived, we can learn a lot from him.
I enjoy watching your content on TKJL. Being from Louisville Ky, I can remember as a kid watching him on the weekends on channel 3 USWA before coming to the WWF. He seems like such a down to earth, good, genuine guy. As a fellow collector of vintage memorabilia, I'm in aw at his collections and artwork. Love hearing his stories too.
One of the greatest use to love waking up on Saturday morning and watching the King and Lance Russell and the super star and Dutch Mantel and on and on it sucks that we all have to get old lots of great memories come back when ever I see the King God bless you King 👑
Who knew he was that much into comic books and superheroes good shit... omg I'd love just to have that huge incredible hulk or superman statue or life-size figurine idk what to call em
Three comments: 1. If you're talking about the best in-ring performers ever, Jerry Lawler would definitely be on my Mount Rushmore, 2. Jerry's story about sending in artwork to Lance Russell was sweet, and 3. How in the hell did Jerry get that AWA belt away from Verne?!?
@@steveregal5821 The AWA belt was becoming defunct anyway through a unification with WCCW where Lawler defeated its champion Kerry Von Erich. Once WCCW became USWA, Lawler became their Unified Champion and a new AWA belt had to be made where Larry Zbyszko won a 20-man battle royal.
I love that King grew up hearing the term "icebox" for refrigerator, considering that he grew up in the 50's & early/mid 60's. I was born in 1984, & I lived w/my Nan & Gramps & my mom, all three of whom (especially my grandparents) also referred to the fridge as the ICEBOX.
The Icebox was named after the role it played in the household. It was nothing more than a square box in which food was stored in and kept cool with a block of ice (which was delivered daily and much of the time by specific horse drawn wagons, that were also designed to keep the ice very cold).
@Mike Bridges That's exactly right. I always found it interesting that my gramps would always complain if someone held the fridge door open for too long. He'd say, You're letting the hot air in! He never differentiated between the 2
Jerry I remember your son Brian Christopher in ovw and I remember being a kid and going to watch him and he was like the Shawn Michaels of ovw I'll never forget the time one we were actually allowed to step in the ring in freedom Hall if you were the customers who paid enough to be in there with him and Sean White AKA The Big show and I was maybe 12 at the time and I just kept running up to Christopher and he was the sweetest guy in the world and he was the one that actually whispered in my ear that you were his dad... Brian Christopher one of my favorites I wept the day I heard of this passing honestly one of my childhood heroes
King. You’re an amazing athlete artist and all around cool guy and a true king to his throne. I’m sorry about your son I miss seeing him in the ring and hearing his laugh rest in peace to your son. I’m a big fan of you and your son, You have an amazing house, and you have a nicely furnished decorated. I mean Christmas story is my favorite movie followed by the national lampoons Christmas
THE KING'S FIRST SHOWN HIS ARTISTIC TALENTS THE YEAR WWE WAS GONNA USE INSTANT REPLAY AFTER EVERY MATCH AND THE KING WOULD DRAW ON THE MONITOR DURING SO I'M GLAD HE'S STILL ARTIST.
Jerry Lawler is a kid at heart. What he couldn't get as a kid, he got in his adult success. Unlike Michael Jackson, he kept his head on his shoulders. Jerry is a greater blue collar success, than Stan Hansen.
It was really cool just to see him being himself. I shook his hand once. It was when he was AWA champ. He had just beaten Greg Gagne at the Kolf Sports Center in Oshkosh WI, and he shook my hand as he was walking away from the ring.
Love the king man all time great in the wrestling business and super talented artist that drawing of all 3 men vince sr vince jr and Shane o mac was outstanding
All that work and just a regular kitchen with no one to cook for him. I wouldn't call that the life of a King. But I'll always love Jerry's work. I grew up watching him.
Camera person seems afraid to get too close to King or doesn't know how to use a zoom feature on the stuff he's trying to show you. That said, I love King and the interviewer does a great job at letting him tell stories without interrupting.
Funny how The King ALREADY has a microphone hooked up to himself as he open's the door and act's "Surprised"! Still Kayfabing all these years later!

Him and JR were THE best commentary duo in all eras of WWE

I'd love to see more of Jerry's artwork. Incredible artist
First couple of mins of this tour and he has a living room for all of his family members who have passed.

Last comment. Life With Mikey! I love that movie, I'm going to see if I can find it streaming ASAP. Whatever happened to the lead child actress?
Aw he has a shrine to Brian that's actually touching. Made me tear up a little.
That right side of the fireplace will always be dedicated to Brian’s memory
Jerry still gets sad when he looks and remembers his fallen son. 🥺
um...duh!
The son hung himself, so I'm sure it's sad for Jerry every day to think about that.
of course he does
This was great thank you
Jerry is one talented Man. His drawings are fantastic.
I miss Brian. Talked to him a little bit on Facebook. Very nice guy. Great talent. Great memories. Very sad.

Ran into him at Walmart in Cordova super down to earth
he has the batmobile mind blown! And the ballad of Jerry Lawler. amazing

Cool video..Jerry was in a country music video of my cousin Clay Davidson..super man strong ..in 2000 or 2001 ..wonder if he remembers that..
I'm sorry it's I can't lie to me the song..
Ive always loved Lawler. Especially in the 90s when he was so hated on in WWF.
Interesting your names Eric Cartman and your PFP is trump. MAGA hates south park haha
I never miss the Monday night in the Mid-South Memphis coliseum from 1987 to 1990 and Jerry Lawler was a star
