This tool was designed for small decal and intricate areas.. they specifically say not to use it for this application…. Just FYI… it’s meant for grill plates and small plastic areas. I believe Levi even said not to use harsh chemicals with this tool for safety purposes

I have been looking at purchasing the air sprayer and it says you can use it for tire dressings etc. I copied below from the description of the product. Not sure why he would say that if their description says it can be used that way.
Use Ultra Air Spray Applicator with tire dressings, trim dressings, cleaners, fabric protectants and so much more

Cool idea on the chemical sprayer. I dont understand guys spraying on tire shine though. If its airborne, its going to get on the wheels, paint, and glass, and cause you more work. I prefer applying it with a body and fender brush, it takes about 10 seconds for each tire and no mess. Also cleaning that thing out would be harder than throwing your brush in your bucket and rinsing it out later.

I wouldn’t use this for tire applications.. I’ve watched various videos on the device.. and I don’t thing it was really ever meant for tires.. it’s meant for the small intricate plastic areas around a car where you don’t want over spray.. if you watch the demonstration of this tool from the actual company.. they use a mini cooper as their vehicle of choice.. I owned a Mini cooper S for 10, years and loved it.. but I believe they picked this car on purpose because it had small areas around the engine where there are plastic vents.. they are tons and tons of other vehicles that can be named with the same situation.. but I believe Levi from the company even says to use a light APC or just water.. because there will absolutely be blowback that can be harmful to the body.. I don’t think this was really designed for the every day person, though it’s priced very well.. it has a very specific purpose.. and I believe they were pretty open about that on their release.

Won’t work for mobile detailing. Need a 20 gallon or larger compressor.

We have a 10 Gallon air compressor made by California Air Tools in one of our mobile detailing vans. We use the Ultra Air Tire Dressing tool at around 65-70psi, that seems to help alleviate some of the extra fog created while using the tool. Cheers!

Definitely cut your pressure on the spray. You’re probably close to double what you need.

Need a little cheater valve to turn down the pressure. Should be able to pick one up at a paint supply hose to connect from hose to the gun.
