I’ve got the H10PM. I cobbled an m12 battery adapter into it so that I could get rid of the original NiCad battery. The little 2ah Milwaukee m12 batteries seem to work out nicely , and if it goes flat it can easily be swapped out. I’ve got no way of sharing pictures otherwise I’d show you 👍🏻 Top vid as always 👍🏻
Happy New Year Dave!!! Poor Tippy had to sit in the wet spot! 😅 I was nervous when you were walking on that membrane. Those things can get real slick. I've come close to seriously busting my ass on those things a couple of times.
You gotta get yourself a telescopic floor squeegee Dave. I’ve had one for years to clear water off the top of RTU’s and in front of units I’ve got to take a knee for
I remember back when I was 6 playing in the snow at the beach next to the wharf in 76. The 86 storm was crazy too, I remember the waves were coming up over the wharf, 86 storm made new beach it was great to boogie board. Me and friend went up to paradise park in the 86 storm and road our boogie boards all the way down the san lorenzeo river to the beach.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year Norcal Dave from across the pond. long time viewer, first time leaving a comment, appreciate the time and energy you put in to create content for us all. All the best 🇬🇧~🇺🇲
The first H10 I used was a Yokogawa late 80's vintage. The second one was a GE H10B rebranded Yokogawa. Still have the H10B lying around somewhere. Both were 120vac.
Good video ! You crazy !!! sticking your $600.00 leak detector sniffer in the drain tube on the evap & leaving it there - Nice trick though. not something i'm going to be doing often though. 😂 h-10 really don't like water & can junk them out fast. i was kinda shocked you did not leak check the Clamp on access valve first. those things are so prone to leaking. a Quick Broom sweep 🧹 to get rid of that water on the roof of the W. i. c. can make Life a lot drier Guys - Just a fyi for anyone reading this. restaurants have brooms usually very handy everywhere. takes just a Minute to get rid of all that water & make your life safer & wet clothing sucks !
@@NorCal-refrigeration Ok. i can see that. refrigeration not running. hot box. got to watch out though , a lot of times i've seen those drain tubes secured to the bottom of the box making a trap full of water. definately got to be careful with that trick. 👍

Great video Dave. True’s are probably one of my favorite reach ins to work on. That Hoshi was a biological breeding ground. How you liking the Milwaukee meter?
That's what i tell All my customers !!! if it ain't Working Why destroy it More !!! - i tell them !!! -Unplug it , Unload it & Wipe it out. That Way it's Fully Defrosted by the time i Get there , Compressor is Cold & Can save them a Compressor. Saved them A Bunch of Money , a Compressor sometimes & Bunch of money not having to pay me to defrost the Frozen evap. if it's Frozen. it's Been a Huge Win For Everyone involved since i implemented this Many Years ago. Edit - it's also a Huge Win for Food Temperature safety.
Here in the uk this cant/should not happen We would on this unit with no charge Put in ofn try and find a leak Then if it can be repaired do so then vac and recharge

Moms from Nottingham how’s that?
@@NorCal-refrigeration No way! Surfs no good in Nottingham so you're probably best sticking it out in Cali!!
Actual diagnostic starts around 5:30.
👍💪🇺🇸❄️ great vid. My last call Friday was a true 2dr cooler from 1999 still working.
Unlike a reach in, I am NOT happy when I've got gas!

Good video Dave. I’ve still got my GE H10 from like 30 years ago. Was my best detector for years . Happy New Year 🎊 🎉

Happy New Year!
I was guessing the vampire tap was leaking because they were fiddling around cleaning and banging on it. lol.
Dude I just tuned up my H10. New checker sauce and sensor. Works like a champ. Destroys the stratus/Cutlass supreme.

im getting use to the meter but not sure i would recommend it yet.
They should empty the reach-in, before the technician arrives.
