Got my jbl xtreme and people say if I use it on 100% ( yes I have bass mode on lol) but it dont seem to distort even on 100% on my iPhone but people say it’s bad for it so like,,,, how do I tell if I should stop playing a song? Or web it’s gonna blow?
All this does is turns off the DSP and the kind of protection which stops the speaker drivers getting damaged by loud and low bass! So basically you are risky my damaging the unit!

So you think the bass response isnt deeper? Why not? As i remember jbl is cutting everything below 70 hz so this would improove the bass response, except this buttoncombination disables only a subfilter for lets say frequencies below 20hz, then thats a different story...

Confused me, my jbl sounds normal, then when I hold down the Bluetooth and volume down it like turns all the eq off and has no bass?

In JBL GO it gets just restart xD
Only low bass gets boosted and it can damage your speaker, the bass just gets worse
you don't actually have to pause the song to switch between modes although it helps
