You are doing some pretty interesting testing! The W800's did okay although not outstanding. That being said they are still very much in spec! That B640 though... What a stylish and accurate machine! Thank you for sharing your results with us, Professor Pete from the WUDN Academy of Arts and Sciences!😅 Have an awesome day man!
Thanks for the "Professor"! What a coincidence, my butcher calls me "professor" (because in Italy teachers from 6th grade on are called "professore", and I teach 6th to 8th graders). All these watches are awesome. It's just that some are ... awesomer :))) Thanks for your comments Johan!!!
@@WUDN-WatchUDontNeed That is cool! Its like its meant to be haha! Italy has some awesome customs! We dont do that but we loved our teachers... Some more than others haha! I agree! Some are just slightly better in some ways then their other brothers. I wonder if they would ever maker a metal W800. I would buy it! It would be the most awesomest hahaha! Take care my friend!
Very interesting! I think the least accurate watch in my minimal collection is my Casio H101 Marlin. Maybe it is asking to be tweaked. 😄 Then the most accurate is my Alfajr WR-02. The joys of collecting watches is definitely trying to keep them all in sync. 🤙🏼
The Casio Marlin h101 is beautiful! I wouldn’t mind it not being too accurate: it’s beauty and charm makes up for the lost seconds… The alfajr: I didn’t know it, I looked it up and it’s a really interesting piece! Thanks for this comment!!!
@@WUDN-WatchUDontNeed Indeed it is beautiful. I bought a very abused Casio H101 and have been restoring it slowly. The next step I am going to be doing is using diamond paste on the crystal as I have gone far enough with emery paper. Then figure out how to fix the strap that is a bit stretched. 😄 Not many people know the Alfajr WR-02 and my pleasure for the introduction. 😊 ..and you are most welcome for my comment. Thank you for your reply too.
Love to see someone else doing this kind of tests... I've been tracking the precision of my watches for a while, with monthly sinchronization and comparisons against time.gov I have some casios that are almost spot on, only gaining a second every two months, and others losing like 20 s per month, but always within the precision stated for the module. A couple of years ago I bougth some A168 as gifts and keep them for a couple of months before giving them away, and there were also considerable variations between watches with the same module, as in your W800 I can't assess the effect of winter/summer because I live in the tropic, but I'm very sure that your numbers may vary in the winter And by the way, the most amazing thing for me is that despite being 6000 km away from WWVB, my three radio controlled casios (GWM5610, the awesome WV200 and the supreme Lineage LIW-M610) recieve the signal almost every night Thanks for sharing your content, greetins from Colombia
I got The idea for these accuracy tests by a small Japanese channel in which there were accuracy tests made on grand Seikos, and other mechanical/spring drive watches. It’s amazing to see how cheap Casio’s often outperform luxury watches as far as accuracy is concerned. So far I have tested my digital watches only in comparatively warm weather. We will see how they fare when winter comes. The GWM 5610 is a superb watch! It is the one that rekindled my love for Casio watches when I bought it some five years ago. I’ve had a lineage in my Amazon cart for quite a while now. The liw-m610 is suuuuper cool! Do you have it in black or silver? Great idea to have some a- 168 ready to give as gifts, I think they make the perfect gift for almost anyone! ¡ muchísimas gracias por este comentario muy interesante y un abrazo desde Italia!
@@WUDN-WatchUDontNeed The LIW-M610 is probably the closest thing possible to a perfect watch, by far the best piece of my collection. I got the one with the black dial, all the other options were either too expensive or required additional import taxes. You have to be really picky (and we all watch nerds are) to find something wrong with that watch, maybe the sunburst of the subdials is too strong... other than that is really amazing, and in my opinion blows away any similar citizen or seiko. Gracias por compartir tus videos!
@@WUDN-WatchUDontNeed The LIW-M610 is an outstanding watch, as close to perfect as possible, in my opinion. You have to be really picky (and all we watch nerds are) to find something wrong with it... I own B640, W800h and A178 which shares the same module as the W800. My A178 & W800 go off a few secs a month, while the B640 is crazy accurate - doesn't lose a second!
If I wanted to be coherent with my channel's name I'd say U-Don'tNeed a B640. But then again... It's a really interesting watch. Only maybe get the all-resin version (goes by the name of W-202-1AVEF) if the prone-to-fading metal finish of the case is an issue for you. Thank you for this comment!!!
Hi there! This video is a continuation of two previous videos documenting the accuracy of the models shown. In those videos the date in which the time was set is documented, along with the setting process, shot on camera in real time. You’ll find the videos linked in the description, in case your justified and commendable appetite for accuracy needs appeasing. I’ll be glad if you watch them! Thanks for this comment !

I wore my B640 just yesterday and was amazed at how accurate it still was, compared to my other Casios in the box...

I am starting to think I need to get one of those B640s aside from the obvious accuracy it looks fantastic,

DUDE! WTF!
How can you check any watch accuracy over time, if you do not even known when you set it?
This video is a total FAIL!
