Whitcomb had a great day yesterday and went 0-4 today with 3 strikeouts. Crazy how much a day in baseball changes a players performance. I’m really rooting for Whitcomb. It might be early but out of the rookies we’ve called up he seems to have the best potential.
It takes time for some players to adjust to the mlb. Some players just come out and hit well no matter what and some have to study what kind of pitches some pitchers throw and get used to those pitchers. He must have a hard time hitting sliders.
